Dillon Kyle Architects (DKA)the design offers generous, flowing open spaces on the main level, which overlooks a small courtyard. The site’s woodland characteristics inspired the use of exterior stone. Accoya, a fast-growing softwood that is impervious to decay in the Houston humidity, was used for siding. The combination of the site strategy, program and aesthetic direction respond to the site’s challenges to create an elegant solution.

Our homeowners moved from The Windy City all the way to the land of the pines with dreams of a perfect home for their family. They found Wake Remodeling and together we made their dream a reality. We developed a strategy to utilize as much of their current resources as possible, while adding new features and design throughout the home. We completed a kitchen refacing with appliances, new paint, lighting, and gorgeous customer cabinetry.
The master bathroom is a must see! We completely redesigned the bathroom with the homeowners' stellar taste in mind and created a haven for them to relax and rejuvenate. From the custom closets to the body spray shower system, the master bathroom makes a statement of elegance.

Hugh Lofting Timber Framing, Inc.Hugh Lofting Timber Framing (HLTF) manufactured and installed the Southern Yellow Pine glued-laminated (glulams) beams and the Douglas Fir lock deck T&G in this modern house in Centreville, MD. HLTF worked closely with Torchio Architects to develop the steel connection designs and the overall glulam strategy for the project.

Design StrategiesGrand entrance which was once a wall blocking the view of the water and new estate like Asian gardens. One of a kind 14 ft Asian alter table now serves as the only room divide. Flag stone tiles flow into Bamboo floors. The once pickled pine ceiling is now an opaque Coffee bean and platinum faux finish. Custom Lumicor & Alder sliding barn door leads to the master bedroom which was formerly the kitchen. nickel Tec track lighting defines the living space; while the opulent Asian chandelier adorns the the foyer space.
Prime 1 BuildersThis project won in the 2013 Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh Housing Excellence Award for Best Urban Renewal Renovation Project. The glass bowl was made in the glass studio owned by the owner which is adjacent to the residence. The mirror is a repurposed window. The door is repurposed from a boarding house.

ESM Strategies LLCWe are so proud to have completed this absolutely, stunning remodel of the Westons entire first floor. This house was glad in the early 2000s golden oak, gray carpet, and beige walls. To give this incredible turnaround was such a great opportunity. Complete with subway tile, custom barnwood shelves and mantle, wood plank style LVP flooring, and tall profile trim to accent the walls. New countertops, and a cabinet refabrication to bring the kitchen into a new life. To say this house is absolutely magazine worthy, may be an understatement.
