This Pond renovation and stream and waterfalls addition in Lancaster, PA consisted of draining and cleaning the existing Pond. During cleaning of the pond we made repairs and fixed up fallen pond rock and pond lighting. We then constructed a new stream with various waterfalls coming off the back bank into the existing pond. We added drift wood, moss, and woody plants to give the stream a natural look consistent with the woodsy surroundings.

The homeowner wanted a lush Rocky Mountain landscape and to disguise the large backyard hillside excavation that during construction of the house. Utilizing numerous on-site boulders, creating a 75' long stream, and planting hundreds of trees, shrubs, and perennials filled out the backyard slope and enclosed the space with interesting colors, textures, and forms. The “handrill” of Corten steel follows the peastone and steel steps down a steep slope to pour into a round basin, emptying into a channel that meanders through the narrow back garden at ground level, ending finally in a boulder fountain.
