We relocated these hydrangea that had not flowered in over 10 years from another section of the property. Sometimes a plant that has grown "comfortable" can be forced to bloom by the trauma of the movement to a new location. Behold their struggle to survive in the new location.

The decision to keep the original cabinet boxes meant simply replacing the cabinet drawers and drawer fronts for a refreshing transformation. The porcelain tile floor has the unmistakable look of brick without the struggle to keep it clean. New appliances, stylish range hood, and a new cabinet box for the refrigerator. A custom island located in the original dining nook satisfies the client's number one request, providing a place to drink wine and make cookies.

Our clients relocated to Ann Arbor and struggled to find an open layout home that was fully functional for their family. We worked to create a modern inspired home with convenient features and beautiful finishes.
This 4,500 square foot home includes 6 bedrooms, and 5.5 baths. In addition to that, there is a 2,000 square feet beautifully finished basement. It has a semi-open layout with clean lines to adjacent spaces, and provides optimum entertaining for both adults and kids.
The interior and exterior of the home has a combination of modern and transitional styles with contrasting finishes mixed with warm wood tones and geometric patterns.

No mow backyard was accomplished by removing the struggling lawn and replacing it with pea gravel. Stone steppers were placed as a paath to the hot tub. A horizontal wood fence provides privacy. A custom wood bench to match the wood fence makes great use of the limited space.

This client was struggling to make their studio work for entertaining, but also work. They needed an elegant, but efficient table solution. Using our "Quick Fixes" service, we provided three options, and we love their selection. This table by Floyd is easy to clean, and easy to move with removable legs. The perfect investment piece, and the ultimate multitasker for this multi-use space!

After struggling to find the right contractor to build their pool deck these clients met with us and explained what their ideal deck would look like. We guided them through our design process and came up with a plan to build their dream deck. We coordinated with building inspection, utility companies and the pool installer to insure everything would go smoothly. We stated construction and were able to complete the project in just 3 weeks. The clients are now enjoying the deck with their kids and grandkids.

When we arrived at this kitchen in Solebury it was dated and closed in. A center peninsula divided the space and a wall at the end separated a tiny dining room. We completely redesigned the layout by removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room and adding a window to gain some natural light.
The homeowners loved the rich cranberry color but struggled to integrate it without overwhelming the space with red. The window treatments and floor to ceiling pantry gave us the perfect opportunity to accent the color palette throughout the room. Some open shelving and a chair rail along the top of the backsplash allow for decoration and keep the counters clutter free.
This quickly became one of our favorite kitchen renovations simply because of the dramatic changes we were able to make

Previously renovated with a two-story addition in the 80’s, the home’s square footage had been increased, but the current homeowners struggled to integrate the old with the new.
An oversized fireplace and awkward jogged walls added to the challenges on the main floor, along with dated finishes. While on the second floor, a poorly configured layout was not functional for this expanding family.
From the front entrance, we can see the fireplace was removed between the living room and dining rooms, creating greater sight lines and allowing for more traditional archways between rooms.
At the back of the home, we created a new mudroom area, and updated the kitchen with custom two-tone millwork, countertops and finishes. These main floor changes work together to create a home more reflective of the homeowners’ tastes.
On the second floor, the master suite was relocated and now features a beautiful custom ensuite, walk-in closet and convenient adjacency to the new laundry room.
