Small transitional single-wall wet bar photo in Chicago with an undermount sink and concrete countertops

This built-in was a small part of a project that coincided with some modern hand railing and ladders. We played around with some interesting lines through the design process. The result was this geometric abstraction design back panel (all built in reclaimed Ash) meant to draw attention to a space that could have been stark. The objective of this design also needed to be functional. We incorporated a tiered offset reclaimed Ash shelf unit that allows the light to fall through and tastefully illuminate the records. The slatted feature below is a cover panel for the lower space housing electronic (i.e. router, external hard drive…). Its built with 3/4″ reclaimed Ash slats resting in laser cut slots in the steel rails. Inspiration for a large modern living room remodel in Chicago with brown walls, a two-sided fireplace and a wood fireplace surround

This 1980’s condo on the East Bank, was ready for some updates to personalize their master bedroom/bath. Inspired by a recent trip to Asia, the clients were eager for a solid shower floor. After much searching, Azul blue Brazilian granite was selected with a custom Schluter drain system. To complement the gray and blue tones, gray travertine was selected for the floors and walls with a blue recycled glass accent. To carry the modern custom look onto the vanity wall, two stacked floating vanities were designed. The Azul granite was installed, modern faucet and basin, as well as the blue glass tile to the ceilings. Custom lighting finishes off the space.
