This is a case study of a client living in Hong Kong. The client's residence is a 100-square-meter home. The client approached us with a requirement to find suitable lighting fixtures for their entire house. The home decor style combines modern design with a mix of natural wood and Scandinavian influences. The client wanted to select different pendant lights for each room - the living room, dining room, two bedrooms, and balcony. They wished for these pendant lights to perfectly match the style and complement each room, while also being budget-friendly.
For the living room, the client desired a touch of Chinese-style wooden accents. Hence, we selected a bamboo-woven pendant light with a Chinese design. As for the balcony, the client wanted a consistent style with the living room, so we chose a double-layered bamboo-woven pendant light. For the two bedrooms, the master bedroom leaned towards a predominantly white color scheme, so we opted for a white Scandinavian-style pendant light. The second bedroom had a focus on natural wood, so we selected a wooden pumpkin-shaped pendant light. For the dining room, which had an overall modern white theme, we chose a white Macaron-style PH5 pendant light.
Interestingly, during the process of selecting lighting fixtures, the client also became interested in our multifunctional robot-inspired five-layered dressing table. They ultimately decided to purchase and install it in the master bedroom. Upon receiving the products, the client expressed their satisfaction with how well the lighting fixtures aligned with their requirements. We are delighted to share this case study with everyone, hoping to provide inspiration and ideas for their own home renovations.

Install a comprehensive high backsplash for continuity and luxe impact
Update the range hood with a design that commands attention
Refresh the cabinetry with a brighter, more modern finish.
THE REMODEL
Design Challenges:
The quest for the ideal marble slabs was extensive and challenging. Our mission: find the right slabs and match them
The homeowner’s preference against metal hoods prompted a creative redesign
Design Solutions:
We selected exquisite Calacatta Viola marble slabs that encapsulate the desired impact and drama
A bespoke marble hood was crafted, serving as a unique and sophisticated component that complements the overall design

For this Full Bath, space was adequate but uninspiring. The homeowners realized this space was in need of a Renovision to make it suitable for their two Young adults in the home. Keeping the two sinks was necessary and mounted under ‘New Venetian Gold’ Granite. Ample Cabinetry finished in a white painted finish with espresso glaze and two large mirrors in matching painted finish set the tone to reflect the sumptuous materials. We worked with the homeowners to create a simple, yet unique tile design for the tub/shower walls and to show it off, we recommended a 2-door Frameless Glass Shower Enclosure. This French Door Glass Shower enclosure is convenient, yet provided an elegant look and made a positive impression on the young adults in the family.

While we may normally think of it as a mere, functional necessity, creative use of outdoor patio lights can not only give a great look to your patio but also make your summer evenings more pleasurable. Cool outdoor/patio lighting ideas can help you to get more use as well as enjoyment from your outdoor living spaces.
Some of such outdoor and patio lighting ideas are presented below:
Star Lit Floors:
You can use fiber optic lighting to give your deck the star lit sky effect. In this type of lighting, light would travel through thin flexible cables, ending in points of light which are inserted into small holes drilled in the decking. The cables and lights are safe to use in all weather conditions since there is no electricity or heat conducted. This can also be done as a good DIY project, if you are so inclined.
Lighting the Way:
This type of deck lighting cannot just add safety but also help extend the deck party time. Post-mounted fixtures can provide ambient lighting and also signal the locations of the railings. You can use low-voltage LED fixtures operating on 12 volts which is much safer than the regular household level of 120 volts.
Movable Deck-Standing Lighting:
An over-sized floor-standing lamp that is designed for outdoor use can light up the whole deck sitting area using a 250 watts halogen lamp. This fixture can be made waterproof with an aluminum base, galvanized steel frame and a plastic shade. Stability in windy conditions can be ensured with adequate use of lead weights.
String Lights:
These can go up in any location including patios in order to offer versatility as well as style. String lights are easily available in many styles and sizes and the wiring does not need to be concealed, since it is a part of the fixture itself. Low-voltage (12 volts) or the regular (120 volts) lights can be used, as suitable. Although a bit expensive initially, outdoor solar powered lights can also be used which will save money in the long run, since they don't use the grid electricity.
Combination Light and Ceiling Fan:
Keep your covered patio cool and stylish at the same time with a combination light and ceiling fan. The fan would need a 120 volts supply so you could use that to power the light as well. The wires can easily be concealed by painting them to match with the woodwork and/or running them along the framing members.
Patio Stairway Lights:
As you may be aware, many municipality building codes require you to light exterior deck, patio and entrance stairways. This sensible safety measure can be achieved with easy and style using motion-activated lighting. These bright LED lights would automatically turn on when they detect motion a few feet away and then turn off after the delay of a pre-set number of seconds. They can be easily installed anywhere with the help of screws or double-sided tape.
Put any of these ideas for outdoor patio lights to good use – wish you all the best.

Seeking a personal retreat by the Atlantic coast, our client found a new home in Lisbon, overlooking the water. The centuries-old building had been revived by a local architect some years prior, preserving its elegant historical features while updating the structures and fixtures. Our team uplifted the interior with new finishes, and furnished it with a refined composition of walnut and slender black metalwork, softened by cream and anthracite fabrics that recall the architectural stonework. The outcome aspires to an understated, welcoming warmth, while maintaining a bright, graceful interior suitable to the airy views.
The living area revolves around a locally-designed travertine coffee table, situated in conversational balance by sofas that appear suspended just beneath the horizon. The arrangement seamlessly blends with the porous stone hearth, set upon a hand-tufted New Zealand wool rug.
A walnut dining set bestows a Scandinavian dualism: elegance for formal dinners, yet sturdy practicality for quick meals. Beyond, an Italian-made buffet also serves as a media cabinet. Marble consoles punctuate the river view, their frames complementing the slender rods of the ceiling fixtures.
Handmade in Portugal, the sleeping setups feature beds with textured upholstery upon joinery, matching walnut and marble nightstands, light linens, and contrasting woven bedside rugs. Iconic bedside lamps with thin black metal supports finish the scene.

This coastal kitchen was custom designed with rift cut white oak and painted white cabinetry. Oak beams were added to provoke a farmhouse look, while the hood is accented in the same oak trim. Sea Pearl natural quartzite countertops are warm and look like layers of sand, while Moroccan zellige tile glitters with a naturally variegated glaze on the backsplash. Ralph Lauren pendant lights steal the show, emulating the glass of a lighthouse. Functionally, refrigeration is hidden behind matching panels, a wine fridge and additional bar sink make this a kitchen suitable for all tasks.
