The homeowner was used to functioning with a stacked washer and dryer. As part of the primary suite addition and kitchen remodel, we relocated the laundry utilities. The new side-by-side configuration was optimal to create a large folding space for the homeowner. Now, function and beauty are found in the new laundry room. A neutral black countertop was designed over the washer and dryer, providing a durable folding space. A full-height linen cabinet is utilized for broom/vacuum storage. The hand-painted decorative tile backsplash provides a beautiful focal point while also providing waterproofing for the drip-dry hanging rod. Bright brushed brass hardware pop against the blues used in the space.

High ceilings accommodate the tall storage pantry. A broom closet , food storage and a china cabinet are all tucked into the space. The pantry on the left was purchased at an architectural salvage warehouse and painted the same color as the new custom cabinets for a seamless transition.

This custom Arts & Crafts Crown Point Cabinetry kitchen and bar area features, Quartersawn White Oak with a Washington Cherry stained finish. The Island and custom Range Hood both feature, Bee’s Wax over Eco Brown stain and Burnished over Maple. The kitchen and bar area cabinetry have a Craftsman style door with Black Walnut pegs, while the island presents an Old Cupboard door style that blends seamlessly. The detailed plans for this bathroom can be purchased here: https://www.changeyourbathroom.com/shop/felicitous-flora-bathroom-plans/ The original layout of this bathroom underutilized the spacious floor plan and had an entryway out into the living room as well as a poorly placed entry between the toilet and the shower into the master suite. The new floor plan offered more privacy for the water closet and cozier area for the round tub. A more spacious shower was created by shrinking the floor plan - by bringing the wall of the former living room entry into the bathroom it created a deeper shower space and the additional depth behind the wall offered deep towel storage. A living plant wall thrives and enjoys the humidity each time the shower is used. An oak wood wall gives a natural ambiance for a relaxing, nature inspired bathroom experience.

We used clear storage bins for various toys and crafts that are easily stored in bottom cabinets. We are located in Colorado, but would love to travel for you!

This Montana inspired kitchen was designed to reflect the homeowners' love of the great outdoors. Earthy wood tones and majestic granite complement the western decor of their home. Cherry cabinets have a western style door and rugged oil rubbed bronze handles. Two structural changes were made. First, a tray ceiling was created to increase the height of the kitchen. Next, the kitchen was opened up completely to the family room by removing a doorway and partial wall. The end of the peninsula curves around to invite everyone into the family room. The apothecary drawers (left of the dishwasher) add a rustic western charm. But the highlight of this kitchen is the custom built large pantry. A granite work surface within the pantry complete with electrical outlets allows the homeowner to use small appliances right where they located and stored. Upper shelves allow the homeowners to easily see their large and small pantry items along with generously sized spice racks on each door. Plenty of drawers and a second food pantry provide the needed storage for this active family.
