This is an organic Lime Wash done with a true lime wash product as opposed to a brick mortar or concrete that is often seen on new houses. This product can be applied as a solid coating making the surface completely white, or can be applied and "washed off" in many artistic ways, as seen here. If you hate your brick or just want something unique this is a great option!

This plastic surgeons office is used for non- surgical procedures...skin care. Keeping that in mind LFI wanted the design to be one of a serene, calm, sophisticated and yet classic feel for the patients. The use of classic Calcutta marble with dramatic markings for the reception desk , the blocked rectangle designed wall covering resembling stone , glass and polished chrome Eileen Gray coffee table, floral wall covering , textured fabric on the banquettes, and the hand blown glass pendant and the large format of Laurel's Botanic Portrait of a lotus gives the space a classic measured design juxtaposed with the organic. The pallatte of grays and whites also contribute to the fresh , new feel,of the space.

This Rachiele® 316L surgical-grade stainless steel dual-tier Paragon™ workstation sink is meticulously hand-finished for a flawless, enduring surface. Designed with two functional ledges, it transforms into a multi-level prep and cleanup station, accommodating cutting boards, colanders, drying racks, and more. The expansive single-bowl design allows for effortless handling of large cookware, while the ergonomic depth ensures comfort during extended use. Paired with sleek, non-Waterstone faucets, this installation blends refined craftsmanship with a clean, contemporary aesthetic—perfect for a high-performance luxury kitchen.

Handcrafted in the USA from 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, this hammered apron-front NexGen™ Workstation Sink combines striking design with unmatched functionality. Dual interior ledges allow multiple accessories—like cutting boards, drying racks, and colanders—to work simultaneously, creating a true chef’s workstation. The ergonomic depth is designed for comfort, while the handcrafted finish resists water spots and fingerprints. Perfect for luxury kitchens, this sink elevates both form and function for discerning homeowners.

Founded in 1999, we pioneered the workstation sink — long before it became a trend. Over 25 years and more than a dozen patented designs later, every Rachiele® sink is still handcrafted in Florida by master artisans using the finest metals: 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, pure American copper, and solid brass or bronze.
Our innovations include the double-tier workstation sink, the single-tier workstation sink, our NexGen™ ledge system, dual-drain single-bowl sinks, and a range of accessories like the multi-use grid and sponge caddy.
We design each sink ergonomically to fit the way you cook — for beauty, comfort, and efficiency that lasts a lifetime.

Built in 1959 by midcentury NW architect Art Johansen (sketch at left), the Shilshole Residence is a study in modernist principles adapted to local materials. Wood-clad walls running parallel to the street create a series of interlocking volumes connected by glass voids. This thoughtful renovation maintains the home's unique character while providing comprehensive updates to both interior finishes and exterior envelope.
Key exterior elements include the striking shou sugi ban siding, a view-facing glass wall spanning one entire side of the home, and lush landscaping. The custom house numbers—milled directly into the siding in CAST's own shop—were inspired by Johansen's early design sketches found in the home.
Inside, a continuous line from the remodeled kitchen to the original fireplace unifies the space. Geometric metalwork, warm walnut cabinetry, quartz countertops, and multiple skylights bring texture and richness to the interiors. The primary suite and study keep all of the main living spaces on the main floor. The lower level features an exercise room and a guest suite with a separate entrance, where the original brick is stained black to create a dramatic, modern contrast.
The home retains its existing footprint, retaining captured carbon in its existing construction while vastly increasing its energy efficiency. While the house is modest in size, the surgical addition of new openings makes it feel much larger, particularly in the primary suite with its spa-like bathroom.

Project Overview:
This intensively-designed small project by MQ Architecture expanded on a functional outbuilding to make something beautiful, matching the fantastic wooded location directly across the Hudson River from West Point.
From MQ Architecture:
“This project entitled a surgical demolition of an existing shed and the erection of a small ancillary building. The old structure housed the electrical and communications utilities of a large compound, and the new project had to preserve the location and function of all this equipment, therefore some walls and floor levels are set from the beginning.
The program required two different type of users, therefore we decided to split the building in two, allowing for a separate circulation for each group. The upper piece houses the electrical room and the team quarters, while the lower portion holds two individual restrooms for visitors.
The project sits in the middle of the forest therefore we chose charred wood to make it blend with the surrounding nature. On the other hand, the polycarbonate façade brings natural light and privacy to the interior. All floors are made of polished concrete for easy maintenance and a radiant slab keeps an optimal temperature during extreme winters.”
