Inspiration for a mid-sized scandinavian dark wood floor and beige floor family room remodel in New York with beige walls and no fireplace

Cabinets are rift Red Oak, Australian Lacewood, and Wenge, with curly Sycamore. Behind, a custom cast concrete backsplash in green and purple with a customized Allessi fruit bowl. To the right of the bowing curly Sycamore panel below the prep sink are two custom stainless steel shelves for the most used condiments. They also form pulls for the drawers behind them. The end of the cabinet to the left of the sink swings open with the towel bar as the door pull. Cooking area backsplash to the right, next to the stove is glass back-painted green. In this bathroom remodel we installed Medallion Cherry Onyx Providence Flat panel doors and drawers with matching recessed mirrored medicine cabinets. The cabinets are accented with Richelieu contemporary metal knobs and pulls. Two square white Kohler undermount china sinks and Moen 90 Degree single handle faucets and two handle roman tub, paper holder, towel bar, robe hook. On the countertop is Cambria Bellingham quartz. In the shower is a 75” tall TruFit Semi-Frameless Swing Door and Panel Enclosure in Chrome with 3/8” glass. Complete transformation of an outdated early 90's oak kitchen to an elegant and sofisticated transitional kitchen. cabinets are 99" tall with a 3 piece crown molding to the ceiling. So many accessories...including: roll out shelving, custom cutlery inserts, custom tray dividers, pull out spice racks, pots and pans drawers, swing out corner shelving and knife inserts. Gemini Design Group was able to transform this space by taking out a closet and turning the island. By moving the range to the exterior wall, we creating a fantastic and functional flow. It is now a cook's kitchen with plenty of room for this busy family.
