This project was designed to accommodate the client’s wish to have a traditional and functional barn that could also serve as a backdrop for social and corporate functions. Several years after it’s completion, this has become just the case as the clients routinely host everything from fundraisers to cooking demonstrations to political functions in the barn and outdoor spaces. In addition to the barn, Axial Arts designed an indoor arena, cattle & hay barn, and a professional grade equipment workshop with living quarters above it. The indoor arena includes a 100′ x 200′ riding arena as well as a side space that includes bleacher space for clinics and several open rail stalls. The hay & cattle barn is split level with 3 bays on the top level that accommodates tractors and front loaders as well as a significant tonnage of hay. The lower level opens to grade below with cattle pens and equipment for breeding and calving. The cattle handling systems and stocks both outside and inside were designed by Temple Grandin- renowned bestselling author, autism activist, and consultant to the livestock industry on animal behavior. This project was recently featured in Cowboy & Indians Magazine. As the case with most of our projects, Axial Arts received this commission after being recommended by a past client.

Welcome to your exquisite basement theater room, a perfect sanctuary for entertainment enthusiasts. This thoughtfully designed space features plush, tiered seating that ensures optimal viewing angles for every guest. A state-of-the-art projection system delivers stunning visuals on a large, high-definition screen, while a surround sound audio system envelops the room in rich, immersive sound, making every movie night feel like a trip to the cinema.
The walls are adorned with acoustic panels to enhance sound quality and minimize echo, ensuring a clear audio experience. Ambient lighting can be adjusted to set the perfect mood, whether you're hosting a movie marathon or enjoying a quiet evening with a classic film.
With its cozy atmosphere and advanced technology, this basement theater room is not just a place to watch movies—it's a destination for unforgettable cinematic experiences with family and friends.

The backbone of the project is the Lorentz seating system by Living Divani, designed by David Lopez Quincoces, used in a double configuration to create two conversation areas: a more intimate one at the entrance and a larger one at the far end of the penthouse. The recessed base and the suspended feel of the cushions emphasise the length of the room, while the full-height bespoke bookcase acts as a scenic backdrop.
The coordinated Lorentz tables, with their low wooden tops, work as a continuous platform between the sofas, hosting books and objects without interrupting the architectural reading of the large living room. A neutral palette – light fabrics, warm wood, white walls – allows proportions and light to define the character of the interior.

Relax in style with this 940 square foot patio that has it all: a lounging area, BBQ and hot tub. This is a fully maximized patio and effective use of exterior roofing space. The decking is trex for minimal maintenance with custom fabricated steel posts and cedar paneling to soften up the feel. This decking system is the perfect place to host parties, friends family and will be low maintenance for years to come due to the unique design and material use.

The powder bath leans into a saturated pistachio palette around a wall-mounted concrete sink. A semi-circle mirror and a trio of circular sconces deliver the playfulness this small room needed for the guests our clients love to host.

We transformed a dated 1970s home on Aspen's iconic Red Mountain into a modern, timeless retreat. This redesign preserved its mid-century charm while enhancing functionality, comfort, and breathtaking views.
This expansive deck features a cozy firepit and ample seating, making it an ideal space for hosting and gatherings.

This project is a prime example of maximizing usable space to get the most out of your backyard. Serving multiple functions; the deck is a perfect area to host dinner parties with the ease of access in & out of the kitchen, while also giving protection from the elements below. By finishing off the underside with a drainage system, it gives a dry space for rainy days to be spent on the gorgeous flagstone patio below. We added some curves to the project to keep it lively & vertical cable handrail to keep visibility at a maximum! Stroll down the steps on either side and the party continues with space for a hot tub, lounging and green grass that beckons to be walked, ran, and played on.

Nothing beats having the ultimate media room in your own home. This impressive home theater was custom designed with the movie buff, sports fan and gamer in mind and features oversized, stadium seating, custom acoustic panels, a gorgeous fiber optic star ceiling and a high end automated lighting system that creates the perfect entertaining experience with the push of a button. The Sony 4K Ultra HD Projector combined with a high performing audio system and 135 inch screen bring lifelike entertainment directly to you and is a surefire way to make any film night you host unforgettable. Adding to the experience is a convenient snack bar area with a 3 flavor soda fountain and convenient under counter ice maker.

For a family that loves hosting large gatherings, this expansive home is a dream; boasting two unique entertaining spaces, each expanding onto outdoor-living areas, that capture its magnificent views. The sheer size of the home allows for various ‘experiences’; from a rec room perfect for hosting game day and an eat-in wine room escape on the lower-level, to a calming 2-story family greatroom on the main. Floors are connected by freestanding stairs, framing a custom cascading-pendant light, backed by a stone accent wall, and facing a 3-story waterfall. A custom metal art installation, templated from a cherished tree on the property, both brings nature inside and showcases the immense vertical volume of the house.

Our client desired an outdoor sanctuary usable in warmer months. We provided landscape audio that immerses without overwhelming the host's experience. Moreover, our solution enabled the client to enjoy the game while relaxing in the hot tub or engaging around the fire pit.
