Inspired by west coast modern architecture, the EcoMod Home harmonizes energy efficiency and modern urban design. Thoughtfully developed to maximize performance and beauty, the EcoMod home redefines what is possible with prefab modular building technology. The compact plan is easily adaptable to urban lot densities and specific site conditions found within the City of Pittsburgh. The EcoMod house consists of five modular units stacked upon a first floor prefabricated wall system. The EcoMod home was developed to create an efficient, livable space with a light and airy interior while including modern home design options for homeowners.

Indoor Pebble Tec® Tahoe Blue pool constructed by Aquatech Pools GC, Inc. The design goals of this pool were to incorporate natural materials with unique color, lighting, water and fire in a family setting geared for entertaining. A pool, spa, swim up bar with accent lighting, an outdoor kitchen, fire pit and 2 fire features were requested by the customer which all had to be fit into a very limited amount of space with restrictive site conditions. The pool is located seaward of the CCL line. Due to elevations of the existing ground, an elevated stemwall was required to be constructed around the entire pool project. We used travertine on the deck, Pebble Tec® Caribbean Blue, ColorLogic Lights, and 2 fire bowls from Grand Effects. The fire pit and chairs we formed in place and constructed out of gunite, tile and granite. The spa bar top was a custom piece of granite with under mounted color lighting. In this new beautiful kitchen we put in maple cabinets finished in Agreeable Gray, white oak cabinets with a custom stain finish, and statuary classique polished quartz with full height backsplash. We added new monogram appliances, a microwave drawer, a pro style wall pyramid hood, Brizo plumbing fixtures, and an Elkay workstation sink. There's a waterfall edge at the island. The upper cabinet has lift up doors at the range wall and additional cabinet storage on the backside of the island. We added in specialty cabinets such as a spice and utensil pullout, tray dividers, and trash pullout. We also put in custom appliance panels on the refrigerator, freezer and ice maker at the wet bar. Topped off the whole thing with under cabinet lighting in kitchen and wet bar, and power bars in kitchen, wet bar and under the kitchen bar top.
