Inside the formal living room, creating intimacy within a large space was of paramount importance. With the custom upholstered couches and antique coffee table, an oasis is created that's perfect for a small gathering. Dramatic 12-foot velvet drapes frame a unique stone fireplace with a glass back that affords an unusual vantage of the back patio. The custom faux finish on the walls reflects light to make the room bright and airy during the day, and dramatic and luxurious after dark.

Kitchen in Bronco | Key Feature: A Scottsdale new-build rooted in sculptural modernism, Bronco Revival balances bold black-and-white contrast with organic textures, natural wood elements, and statement lighting. As a groundbreaking “Live Lab” designer residence, it’s a first-of-its-kind space where luxury furnishings are tested in real-world conditions before being introduced into high-profile client homes. Challenge: Because Bronco Revival was the designer’s personal residence, the project carried a unique level of pressure and intention. The challenge was creating a Scottsdale new-build that felt elevated and editorial while still functioning as a true family home. Every selection had to balance bold sculptural modernism (high contrast, statement lighting, architectural furnishings) with durability, comfort, and day-to-day livability. In addition, the home served as a “Live Lab,” meaning new vendors, materials, and luxury furnishings needed to be tested in real-life conditions before being trusted for future high-profile client projects. Solution: We approached the project with a highly curated, test-and-refine design strategy, treating each space as both a finished interior and a real-world evaluation environment. Key furnishings, textiles, and materials were selected to support the modern organic vision while also standing up to the demands of everyday family life. We worked through selections intentionally, layering in bold contrast, natural woods, and sculptural statement pieces, while prioritizing performance materials, pet-friendly durability, and timeless foundational elements. By using the home as a lived-in showroom, we were able to validate what truly performs beautifully, refine our vendor relationships, and confidently carry those proven selections into future client designs. At Castle Pines in Solon, we embraced a full-scope furnishing approach grounded in purposeful space planning—defining distinct zones within an open-concept layout while ensuring cohesive flow throughout. Fabrics such as boucle and raised-pile textiles lend softness and richness; mercury glass lighting brings subtle sparkle; and a curated blend of mixed metals provides contrast and character. Thoughtfully layered textures, dimensional wallpapers and custom furniture with personality introduce gentle pops of color. The result is a refined yet relaxed home—equally suited for elegant Sunday dinners for twelve, family game nights or quiet, late-night lounging at the bar. The interior reflects a vibrant Italian family’s lifestyle—a sanctuary where sophistication meets everyday functionality.

Location, location, location! Isn’t that what all of our real-estate friends and colleagues are always telling us? Our clients made a wise choice when purchasing this beautifully located ocean front property nestled in the dunes of Palm Beach, but they were presented with a challenge: how to take this luxury townhouse from dark and dated to a chic easy breezy dream home that reflects is naturally gorgeous sun and sand dunes surroundings as well as our clients laid back personalities. Built in 1981, this dream home’s post-modern style with dark wood architectural features, cold concrete structure, and harsh lighting felt out of step by todays standards. Our solution: open the staircase and switch out the wood paneled banister for clear glass, exposing its grand design and allowing for amazing and unobscured views of the property’s outdoor spaces as well as the home’s common areas, permitting its large loft space to shine. Bedrooms were treated to neutral color-schemes inspired by the Palm Beach dunes that surround this oceanfront home. An impressive pallet of textures and materials were chosen, and juxtapositions of lux linens and natural textiles like grass wall coverings and a large arrangement of sculptural branches brings the outside, in. Big and bold custom metal sculptures were installed in the primary bedroom along with hand blown glass light fixtures, adding that touch of glam that we are known for. The private courtyard revamp is above and beyond anything you will see in Palm Beach. Playful and luxurious, it features a koi pond, a two story art installation and a dramatic custom stone waterfall. Its seating area makes great use of this homes original design by softening the heavy overhang with ceiling coverings in Peaky Cyprus and covering the walls with grass, creating a very cool and cozy space to relax and unwind. The entire courtyard is expertly illuminated by artistic lighting that makes every corner a sparkling treat for the eyes. We had fun with this ambitious project and we hope your takeaway is to let location be your guide when looking for your dream home, because anything is possible in design but great surroundings are rare treasures that must be found and cherished.

A new horse barn for a client in Eagle, Idaho. 3 stalls, a wash bay, tack room, and exterior corral. The owner also put in a nearby riding arena with geo-textile for her dressage work with her horses.

For an 1800s farmhouse in the Hudson Valley, I worked collaboratively with my clients bringing together their personal collection of furniture, objects, and antiques from their extensive travels throughout Italy, Spain, Morocco, India, and Greece with eclectic finds I sourced locally. Intent on preserving many of the original architectural elements, we refurbished the working fireplaces and solid wood doors outfitted with hardware from the early 1900s (which had been hand-forged by the blacksmith who had once lived there). Since my clients love to entertain, we added additional rooms suitable for hosting large house parties and updated most of the home's fixtures and fittings. We repainted many of the rooms introducing warm, muted tones of moss, mauve, and hay and custom fabricated much of the furniture. The blue couches in the living room feature a rich navy mohair velvet beside pillows with antique textiles, meanwhile the primary bedroom dons a pink linen bedcover and chunky mohair blanket in a warm citrine.

Warm wood trim, a woven cane headboard, and softly patterned textiles give this bedroom a relaxed, natural character, while the full-height window draws the wooded setting directly into the room.
