Homeowners wanted to cut down their soaring water bill by replacing water-thirsty lawns with a drought tolerant landscape. Turf surrounding their large koi ponds was replaced by agave and aloes, river rock and decomposed granite paths to create a spa-like environment.

This Thirsty Thursday we present a custom Wine Bar! Complete with built in showcase space for vintage finds to your everyday wine storage. We removed this water-thirsty lawn and replaced it with artificial turf and pavers. It's a huge upgrade and big water saver from what was there before. See the transformation with these before and afters.

A large textured concrete walkway with integrated boulders now greets guests at curb and directs them to front door, instead of making them walk up driveway. Architectural drama was created with a terraced low maintenance/drought tolerant garden with a faux stone retaining wall.
