ONE DesignCompleted in two phases, the kitchen in this home was first overhauled and the wall separating it from the dining room was torn down. The structure, hidden in the boxed ceiling, compliments the original details as they were woven into this new great room. New sliding doors replacing the relocated bathroom at the rear beckon one to the garden. This created the palette for the owner to tailor the finishes exquisitely. The resplendent marble counter top is the heart of their tasteful new living space, ideal for entertaining.
For phase two, the owner commissioned ONE Design to flood the upper level of the home with light. The owner, inspired by her rural upbringing in Humboldt, wished to draw inspiration from this and her Eichler-like grandparent’s home. ONE Design vaulted the ceilings to create an open soaring roof and provide a clean three dimensional canvass. Adding skylights which bathe the clean walls in an ever changing light show was the centerpiece of this transformation. Transom windows over the bedroom doors offer additional light to the interior circulation space. Enlarged windows combine the owner’s desire to live in a “glass house,” while paying respect to the Edwardian heritage of the home and providing expansive views of the meadow-like garden oasis. The cherry on top is the attic retreat, adding a north facing dormer that peeks at the Golden Gate Bridge offers a serene perch — perfect escapism for a creative writer!

In Woodinville, WA, our team at M3Decks & Outdoor Living executed a multi-phase, three-year transformation of a 1970s woody walk-up home, converting it into a stunning farmhouse-style retreat. This project, tailored to the client’s vision, showcases our expertise in custom deck construction, structural enhancements, and outdoor living solutions, with a focus on quality and timeless design.
Project Phases
Phase 1: Deck and Entry Deck (Year 1)
Scope: Designed and constructed a composite deck using premium TimberTech materials, paired with a welcoming entry deck to enhance curb appeal. The decks were built with Fortress Steel Framing for durability, aligning with the farmhouse aesthetic through clean lines and rustic charm.
Features: Incorporated a multi-level layout to maximize usable space, with decorative railings and a drink rail cap for functionality and style.
Outcome: The new decks provided a seamless indoor-outdoor flow, transforming the home’s exterior into a functional and inviting space.
Phase 2: Roof Extension and DrySpace Installation (Year 2)
Scope: Extended the roof over the second-story deck and entryway to create a covered outdoor living area. Installed TimberTech DrySpace under the deck to create a dry, usable space below, ideal for a future hot tub.
Design Elements: The roof extension featured farmhouse-inspired gabled roofing with exposed beams, complementing the home’s updated aesthetic. The DrySpace system ensured weather protection for the under-deck area.
Outcome: The covered deck became a year-round outdoor oasis, while the DrySpace addition increased the home’s functional space, adding value and versatility.
Phase 3: Hardscaping (Planned for Year 3)
Scope: Scheduled to return for the final phase, which will focus on hardscaping to complete the outdoor transformation. Plans include a stamped concrete patio, planter boxes with Pacific Northwest-native plants, and a fire pit to enhance the farmhouse vibe.
Goals: Create a cohesive outdoor environment that integrates with the existing deck and roof structures, prioritizing biophilic design principles for a natural, inviting space.
Anticipated Outcome: The hardscaping will finalize the property’s evolution into a luxurious, functional outdoor retreat, perfect for entertaining and relaxation.

BOWAThe second phase of the project focused on an outdoor renovation and a custom-designed master suite/garage addition, which added more functional space for this family to grow and perfectly complemented the home’s exterior. On the ground level, their cramped two-car garage was replaced by a three-car space, and a magnificent rear foyer was created with soaring ceilings. Again, windows in all of the areas, including the new home gym, were planned to incorporate the outdoors. HBelfer DesignWith the kids grown and gone, these homeowners embraced the opportunity to reimagine their split-level ranch for the lifestyle they love—one filled with cooking, entertaining, and welcoming family and friends for extended stays. The comprehensive three-phase renovation transformed nearly every space on the main and bedroom levels. Three former children's bedrooms were thoughtfully converted into two generous guest suites, while the master suite received a complete redesign. The laundry room found a new, more functional location, and the compartmentalized living spaces gave way to today's open-concept living. Walls between the living room, kitchen, and dining room came down, creating one expansive, light-filled space perfect for gathering and entertaining. The result is a home that's shed its tired exterior and dated layout, now perfectly tailored to support the owners' vibrant social life and modern needs.
ONE DesignCompleted in two phases, the kitchen in this home was first overhauled and the wall separating it from the dining room was torn down. The structure, hidden in the boxed ceiling, compliments the original details as they were woven into this new great room. New sliding doors replacing the relocated bathroom at the rear beckon one to the garden. This created the palette for the owner to tailor the finishes exquisitely. The resplendent marble counter top is the heart of their tasteful new living space, ideal for entertaining.
For phase two, the owner commissioned ONE Design to flood the upper level of the home with light. The owner, inspired by her rural upbringing in Humboldt, wished to draw inspiration from this and her Eichler-like grandparent’s home. ONE Design vaulted the ceilings to create an open soaring roof and provide a clean three dimensional canvass. Adding skylights which bathe the clean walls in an ever changing light show was the centerpiece of this transformation. Transom windows over the bedroom doors offer additional light to the interior circulation space. Enlarged windows combine the owner’s desire to live in a “glass house,” while paying respect to the Edwardian heritage of the home and providing expansive views of the meadow-like garden oasis. The cherry on top is the attic retreat, adding a north facing dormer that peeks at the Golden Gate Bridge offers a serene perch — perfect escapism for a creative writer!

Condos SamconLe LDV de Samcon est un projet de 144 condos sur quatre phases situé sur la rue Leonard de Vinci. Samcon's Le LDV is a 144-unit project in four phases located on Leonard de Vinci street. The project consists of 8-unit buildings of three stories with a terrace level. The units are particularly functional and affordable. Le LDV is integrated into an up-and-coming neighbourhood, alive with sounds, tastes and venues reflecting its multicultural diversity.

Amy Pearson DesignUpstairs, a hall bath was updated with fresh fixtures and surfaces blending the traditional with the contemporary. A cramped corner shower stall was expanded, easing every day use for the family of three. Unused space in the bathroom was given to the adjacent bedroom closet - which currently serves as a primary suite but will eventually be given to their daughter after a planned second phase dormer addition is completed!
