This home, set at the end of a long, private driveway, is far more than meets the eye. Built in three sections and connected by two breezeways, the home’s setting takes full advantage of the clean ocean air. Set back from the water on an open plot, its lush lawn is bordered by fieldstone walls that lead to an ocean cove. The hideaway calms the mind and spirit, not only by its privacy from the noise of daily life, but through well-chosen elements, clean lines, and a bright, cheerful feel throughout. The interior is show-stopping, covered almost entirely in clear, vertical-grain fir—most of which was source from the same place. From the flooring to the walls, columns, staircases and ceiling beams, this special, tight-grain wood brightens every room in the home. At just over 3,000 feet of living area, storage and smart use of space was a huge consideration in the creation of this home. For example, the mudroom and living room were both built with expansive window seating with storage beneath. Built-in drawers and cabinets can also be found throughout, yet never interfere with the distinctly uncluttered feel of the rooms. The homeowners wanted the home to fit in as naturally as possible with the Cape Cod landscape, and also desired a feeling of virtual seamlessness between the indoors and out, resulting in an abundance of windows and doors throughout. This home has high performance windows, which are rated to withstand hurricane-force winds and impact rated against wind-borne debris. The 24-foot skylight, which was installed by crane, consists of six independently mechanized shades operating in unison. The open kitchen blends in with the home’s great room, and includes a Sub Zero refrigerator and a Wolf stove. Eco-friendly features in the home include low-flow faucets, dual-flush toilets in the bathrooms, and an energy recovery ventilation system, which conditions and improves indoor air quality. Other natural materials incorporated for the home included a variety of stone, including bluestone and boulders. Hand-made ceramic tiles were used for the bathroom showers, and the kitchen counters are covered in granite – eye-catching and long-lasting.

In this photo set, we featured a remodeling project featuring our Alexander 36-inch Single Bathroom Vanity. This vanity features 3 coats of clear glaze to showcase the natural wood grain and finish of the vanity. It's topped off by a naturally sourced, carrara marble top. This bathroom was originally a guest bathroom. The buyer noted to us that they wanted to make this guest bathroom feel bigger and utilized as much space. Some choices made in this project included: - Patterned floor tiles as a pop - Clean white tiles for wall paper with white slates above - A combination of an open shower and freestanding porcelain bathtub with a inset shelf - Golden brass accents in the metal hardware including shower head, faucets, and towel rack - A one-piece porcelain toilet to match the bath tub. - A big circle mirror with a gold brass frame to match the hardware - White towels and ammenities - One simple plant to add a pop of green to pair well with the wood finish of the vanity

Our clients wanted to expand their living space down into their unfinished basement. While the space would serve as a family rec room most of the time, they also wanted it to transform into an apartment for their parents during extended visits. The project needed to incorporate a full bathroom and laundry.One of the standout features in the space is a Murphy bed with custom doors. We repeated this motif on the custom vanity in the bathroom. Because the rec room can double as a bedroom, we had the space to put in a generous-size full bathroom. The full bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower and two large niches for storing towels and other linens. Our clients now have a beautiful basement space that expanded the size of their living space significantly. It also gives their loved ones a beautiful private suite to enjoy when they come to visit, inspiring more frequent visits!

The client wanted to have an updated bathroom to include a large tiled shower, a new more modern vanity, and a better use of space. The thought of managing this process was a bit overwhelming for the clients, so they reached out to me to take the reins on the project. The vision to update the tile with a frameless shower. Expand the opening to extend the width of the shower for ease of use. Upgrade vanity, mirrors, and fixtures. Luckily, one of the owners works with Hansgrohe, and we had the opportunity to use their fixtures in both the shower and vanity, which are stunning! These simple upgrades made a big impact and created a master bathroom space that these clients love. From Outdated to Outstanding: A Complete Bathroom Makeover When we first stepped into this bathroom, it had all the hallmarks of an older design that had seen better days. The space was cramped and dim, with small, outdated tiles that made the room feel even tighter. The dark gray walls only added to the closed-in atmosphere, and the old popcorn ceiling made the space feel dated. The shower was small, boxed-in, and far from functional — no curbless entry, no modern touches, just a tight stall that didn’t do the space any justice. Our clients wanted a bathroom that felt open, bright, and contemporary — something that balanced function with a bold, modern aesthetic. So we stripped the bathroom down to its bones and rebuilt it with a fresh vision. Here’s what we did: Opened up the space: We removed the bulkhead and popcorn ceiling, instantly making the room feel larger, higher, and cleaner. The new flat ceiling was fitted with pot lights, creating warm, even lighting throughout the bathroom. Created a statement shower: The old shower was replaced with a stunning open-frame design featuring sleek black walls. By going curbless and removing the tight enclosure, the shower now feels like a luxurious centerpiece rather than a cramped afterthought. Brightened the room: To contrast the bold shower walls, we installed large white marble-style tiles that reflect light beautifully and add a timeless, elegant touch. This balance between dark and light creates depth and visual interest while making the room feel airy and sophisticated. Added custom cabinetry: A 60-inch white oak vanity was built to bring in warmth and natural character. Finished with bold black hardware, the cabinet ties in perfectly with the modern black shower and adds ample storage space without overwhelming the design. Upgraded the finishes: From the matte black hardware to the carefully selected fixtures, every detail was chosen to give this bathroom a cohesive, modern look that feels high-end yet comfortable.
