The entire sprawling villa is wrapped around an inside patio with a fountain and hand made Malibu Tile pots. All furniture is hand made, from distressed and rustic tables to custom upholstery in jewel tones. A built in bar for entertaining in the great room, a very large family room with deep blue fabric wrap around sofa, hand knotted rugs in the living room, master bedroom and family room. A master suite with light creamy white walls, a plaster fireplace and a metal poster bed looks through a sitting room with turquoise accents. The home has 6 fireplaces, of which three are outside, some carved in limestone, others in spanish plaster. Designed by Maraya Interior Design. The porch overhang made this room fairly dark, so we used reflective materials and light tones to create balance and make the room feel comfortable. Floor to ceiling silk drapes, glass and ceramic accessories create a quiet contrast against the soft olive walls, patterned carpet and ivory upholstery

This customer wanted to completely update the kitchen making it more modern, in preparation for possibly selling it in the next few years. The design, which included two-tone base and upper cabinets, Cambria SummerHill Quartz, chrome cabinet hardware, arabesque marble backsplash tile, and undercabinet lighting made the final product simply stellar!

This two-tone white and blue maple kitchen was expanded and refaced by Kitchen Saver. The cabinets were expanded with 4 floating shelves, and access to storage was increased by installing full extension drawer slides and rollouts. Specialized storage like a spice rack, tip out tray and trash/recycling pullout add new functionality to the kitchen while new doors, surfaces and molding add a new look.

A bright, vibrant, rustic, and minimalist interior is showcased throughout this one-of-a-kind 3D home. We opted for reds, oranges, bold patterns, natural textiles, and ample greenery throughout. The goal was to represent the energetic and rustic tones of El Salvador, since that is where the first village will be printed. We love the way the design turned out as well as how we were able to utilize the style, color palette, and materials of the El Salvadoran region! The homeowners wanted to turn a transitional style house into a modern masterpiece. When you walked through the front door, there was a wall in between the dining and kitchen that closed off the space into “rooms” and created additional angles to the house in which the homeowners did not like. To create the open, modern feel, we decided to take down a non-load bearing wall that housed the original pantry and refrigerator. Now you can walk through the front door and the expansive kitchen, dining and sunken living room welcome you with a stunning view of the bay. The new cabinets were done in the Madrid door in a combination of Bistro and Walnut to create a two-toned look. We also installed a new backsplash and Quartzite countertop with a waterfall edge.

It is sometimes a surprise what beauty can lurk under the surface of a room. A client with a 1970s kitchen and eat-in area cut up by an unwieldy peninsula was desperate for it to reflect her love of all things English-and-French-Manor-Home. Working closely with my client, we removed the peninsula in favor of a lovely free-standing island that we painted a shade of French Blue. This is topped with Old World sink hardware (note the ceramic HOT and COLD medallions on the faucets!) and a gorgeous marble counter with a very special edge profile that evokes an antique French Boulangerie counter from the 1910s. Pendants with patinaed metal shades over the island further the charming Old World feel. Handmade white and blue tiles laid in a quilted diamond pattern cover the backsplash, and the remainder of the cabinetry at the perimeter is in a warm cream tone. The eat-in near the fireplace got a cozy treatment with custom seat cushions and window seat bench cushions in a classic blue-and-white Toile de Jouy matching the island stools. The nearby living room got a similar treatment. We removed dark wood paneling and dark carpeting in favor of a light sky blue wall and lighter wood flooring. A new rug with the appearance of an heirloom, a new grand-scaled sofa, and some of my client’s precious antiques helped take the room from 70s rec room to English Sitting Room. When a client tells us they’re a mid-century collector and long for a kitchen design unlike any other we are only too happy to oblige. This kitchen is saturated in mid-century charm and its custom features make it difficult to pin-point our favorite aspect! Cabinetry We had the pleasure of partnering with one of our favorite Denver cabinet shops to make our walnut dreams come true! We were able to include a multitude of custom features in this kitchen including frosted glass doors in the island, open cubbies, a hidden cutting board, and great interior cabinet storage. But what really catapults these kitchen cabinets to the next level is the eye-popping angled wall cabinets with sliding doors, a true throwback to the magic of the mid-century kitchen. Streamline brushed brass cabinetry pulls provided the perfect lux accent against the handsome walnut finish of the slab cabinetry doors. Tile Amidst all the warm clean lines of this mid-century kitchen we wanted to add a splash of color and pattern, and a funky backsplash tile did the trick! We utilized a handmade yellow picket tile with a high variation to give us a bit of depth; and incorporated randomly placed white accent tiles for added interest and to compliment the white sliding doors of the angled cabinets, helping to bring all the materials together. Counter We utilized a quartz along the counter tops that merged lighter tones with the warm tones of the cabinetry. The custom integrated drain board (in a starburst pattern of course) means they won’t have to clutter their island with a large drying rack. As an added bonus, the cooktop is recessed into the counter, to create an installation flush with the counter surface. Stair Rail Not wanting to miss an opportunity to add a touch of geometric fun to this home, we designed a custom steel handrail. The zig-zag design plays well with the angles of the picket tiles and the black finish ties in beautifully with the black metal accents in the kitchen. Lighting We removed the original florescent light box from this kitchen and replaced it with clean recessed lights with accents of recessed undercabinet lighting and a terrifically vintage fixture over the island that pulls together the black and brushed brass metal finishes throughout the space. This kitchen has transformed into a strikingly unique space creating the perfect home for our client’s mid-century treasures.

Kitchen remodeling project where the homeowners elected to upgrade their kitchen to a more transitional look by refacing their existing cabinets. They went with a two-tone color look by refacing the island cabinets in a navy bead board panel and shaker doors while the rest of the kitchen was done in a shaker pilot white. We next installed a Quartz Statuary Classique countertop and a White Subway with Pearl Grey Grout backsplash. We also created a beautiful and functional bar area with custom floating shelves and backsplash all the way to the ceiling. To finish the new look we also installed a new farm sink and 1” cove molding.

This beautiful study was part of a whole house design and renovation by Haven Design and Construction. For this room, our objective was to create a feminine and sophisticated study for our client. She requested a design that was unique and fresh, but still warm and inviting. We wallpapered the back of the bookcases in an eye catching metallic vine pattern to add a feminine touch. Then, we selected a deep gray tone from the wallpaper and painted the bookcases and wainscoting in this striking color. We replaced the carpet with a light wood flooring that compliments the gray woodwork. Our client preferred a petite desk, just large enough for paying bills or working on her laptop, so our first furniture selection was a lovely black desk with feminine curved detailing and delicate star hardware. The room still needed a focal point, so we selected a striking lucite and gold chandelier to set the tone. The design was completed by a pair of gray velvet guest chairs. The gold twig pattern on the back of the chairs compliments the metallic wallpaper pattern perfectly. Finally the room was carefully detailed with unique accessories and custom bound books to fill the bookcases.

A home office designed by Beasley & Henley Interior Design. Naples, Florida The Beasley & Henley design team created the Agostino’s interiors to features light colors and driftwood tones, anchored with darker ebony hues and deep blues. Soft patterns and textures, such a tone on tone geometric rugs and light toned wood flooring, bring warmth to this comfortable home. Coffered ceilings and molding details in the main living area create a custom feel. Cool beach colors are punctuated with soft aquas, light tans and restful greys. Rustic elements are used throughout the home to showcase the current trend in this style and to showcase the feeling of coastal living in this development so close to the Gulf of Mexico. Beasley selected a textural wood floor in the main areas, with softer carpeting in the bedrooms. The team’s light cabinetry in the gourmet kitchen is grounded with deeper hued furnishings in ebony and dark grey. Decorative lighting throughout the Agostino is simple and attractive, playing off the rustic features in the home.
