This photo shows the double wine cellar doors designed and installed by Wine Cellar Specialists. It was constructed from Knotty Alder and applied with an Early American stain. They added an intricate iron design to add character to the doors. US Cellar Systems supplied the wine cooling unit for this home renovation project. The evaporator was concealed in a wooden grill cover and box while the condenser was placed in the garage. This Master Bathroom in Norfolk received a complete gut, expansion and renovation. Through our Design Build process these homeowners worked with in-house designer Jason Hoffman to create their dream master bathroom retreat. When designing, Jason was able to offer ideas on how to gain square footage, ultimately adding a walk-in shower. Complete with a custom double vanity and beautiful tile work by Marshall Tile & Marble Company, this has been one of our favorite transformations to date. See the before and after photos below as well as some 3D renderings approved by the homeowners prior to construction. Our team both designs the renovation AND performs the work. Our talented carpentry crew and trusted subcontractors perfectly executed a design on paper to a well laid out, oasis retreat.

THE METAL & GLASS SCULPTURE COLLECTION are three-dimensional contemporary works of art containing shapes and elements inspired by nature and fantasy. Each shape and linear element floats and flows in and out of space creating interactive movement and harmony between shape, line, material, negative space, and weight. The shape elements are cut from sheet and stainless steel then colorized with metal patinas bringing out deep, rich mottled colors including turquoise, deep green and bronze, or faux finished with acrylic paints and metal powders. The linear elements are steel & stainless steel rods, bent, finished, and welded into place. The composition is framed with 1” square steel tubing painted black.

This beautiful home in Westfield, NJ needed a little front porch TLC. Anthony James Master builders came in and secured the structure by replacing the old columns with brand new custom columns. The team created custom screens for the side porch area creating two separate spaces that can be enjoyed throughout the warmer and cooler New Jersey months.

In this small bathroom we redesigned the layout for a better functioning bathroom, we removed the existing bath tub and installed a larger shower area. The shower walls are Caraway Ironstone cultured marble that included a larger shower caddy and decorative chair rail around the glass block window. 3/8” Clear glass TruFit shower enclosure, 72” tall one swing door and stationary panel. Kohler 60”x36” white shower base and coordinating shower drain. Waypoint 450S in Maple wood with Mocha Glaze stain vanity and built in cabinetry was installed with Giallo Ornamental granite countertops with a white undermount china sink and back/side splashes. A Kichler 3 light bath sconce in Olde Bronze finish and Broan ventilation fan with light was installed in the shower area. White ergo height compact elongated Gerber toilet, Delta shower with handheld combo shower head, Delta widespread two handle faucet, 18” towel bar, robe hook and toilet paper holder in Venetian bronze. The flooring is Emblem 7”x20” tile in Summerwheat brown wood look.

The search was on for a retaining/seat wall face stone that would complement the Smoked Pine Borealis paver. The new Dark Ridge color Pro-Fit Alpine Ledgestone by Boral really jumped out at the client as he browsed my manufacturer catalogs.

Inspiration for a contemporary bathroom remodel in San Diego

The perimeter overflow pool’s glass-like surface is maintained by the continuous flow of water recirculating into a surge tank below the deck. The top of the pool wall is a negative knife edge bevelled slightly inward to accentuate the infinity look. JoJo says she is indebted to everyone’s commitment to excellence on the project.
