Location: Nantucket, MA, USA This classic Nantucket home had not been renovated in several decades and was in serious need of an update. The vision for this summer home was to be a beautiful, light and peaceful family retreat with the ability to entertain guests and extended family. The focal point of the kitchen is the La Canche Chagny Range in Faience with custom hood to match. We love how the tile backsplash on the Prep Sink wall pulls it all together and picks up on the spectacular colors in the White Princess Quartzite countertops. In a nod to traditional Nantucket Craftsmanship, we used Shiplap Panelling on many of the walls including in the Kitchen and Powder Room. Our clients came to us with a dream to create a home that was beautiful, filled with classic details yet embody a Modern French aesthetic. We started with the foundation, selecting materials that would be the building blocks for our design. One of the joys of this project was the client's love of color, primarily in hues of blue. A special moment in the kitchen with its jewel-like Azul Macauba Quartzite countertop, brass hardware, and sailor’s coat blue island. As we are designing for a family, practical touches along with luxury elements were a must. Creative thinking was used to reimagine the entry closet into a multi-purpose space including the laundry, drop zone, and pantry. The master bath was filled with a classic design from the scones, wallcoverings to crystal hardware...all to transport you to a french apartment overlooking the streets of Paris. A modern twist inserted was the approach for the family room fireplace. The clean lines of stacked stone were the perfect touch. Our clients' dream home became reality in our Modern French Project and will be loved for years to come.

Bedroom - traditional bedroom idea in DC Metro

A great example of use of color in a kitchen space. We utilized seafoam green and light wood stained cabinets in this renovation in Spring Hill, FL. Other features include a double dishwasher and oversized subway tile.

The need for natural light drove the design of this space. The skylight detail became integral part of the design to satisfy the need the of natural light while creating a modern aesthetic as well as a stunning architectural detail. To keep the lights and pendants centered on the island, we designed a pattern of openings and blocking to allow fixtures to mount at the correct spots along the island span. The master bedroom has a gorgeous view to the lake. We really wanted a comfortable, yet refined approach to the space. The large headboard with low profile surround worked great for the bed – a bigger footboard would have been too distracting. The clean bench was just enough filler for the large space between the bed and TV area. We love this sofa with a cut-out in the middle. How perfect is that for lounging without cutting off the view? Soft linens, light colors with touches of that "lakey" blue really make this master feel spa- or resort-like. As usual, we changed the ceiling fan to this awesome light fixture. Inspiration for a transitional white floor bathroom remodel in Toronto with flat-panel cabinets, medium tone wood cabinets, a one-piece toilet, white walls, an undermount sink and white countertops

Ipe decking, Earthworks EW Gold Stone decking, and exposed aggregate concrete create a beautiful contrast and balance that give this outdoor architecture design a Frank Lloyd Wright feel. Ipe decking is one of the finest quality wood materials for luxury outdoor projects. The exotic wood originates from South America. This environment contains a fire pit, with cobblestone laid underneath. Shallow, regress lighting is underneath each step and the fire feature to illuminate the elevation change. The bench seating is fabricated stone that was honed to a beautiful finish. This project also features an outdoor kitchen to cater to family or guests and create a total outdoor living experience.

Location: Spring Lake, NJ, US Our design goal for this renovation and addition was to present a modern interpretation of Colonial Plantation Style. This home features dark wood floors, wood paneling and a light soothing color scheme. The Dining Room features classic silk De Gournay Wallpaper which further fuses the indoor and outdoor seamlessness of the home. The amazing tile installations permeate the decor with color, texture and pattern. The shaker-style kitchen is refreshed by using black cabinetry, a custom stainless hood and La Cornue Range.
