he LoculaMENTUM bookcase was designed to meld traditional bookcase appearance with a modern interpretation and a twist. This twist allows for books or other collectible items to be artfully arranged, categorized, presented. Diagonal compartments are the spine of the bookcase, so there is a progression of shapes: from the bottom to the top, creating an uplifting feel that has maximum storage capabilities. This is true to the Bauhaus principle, which denotes “form follows function”. In our bookcase design, warm traditional veneers paired with a modern finish and a versatile compartment proportioning make this piece of furniture one with the space. Beveled edges, visible from every notion, add a distinctive unique touch to the bookcase. A design element that is consistently used in our projects, which translates into sleek streamlined furniture designs.

Opened in 2025, this landmark hotel is located on the Nekajui Papagayo Peninsula in Costa Rica. The architecture and interiors called for a thoughtful response to the surrounding landscape. We were commissioned to design and build custom wooden bathtubs for both the spa and the hotel’s luxurious tented accommodations—distinct designs, unified by material, craft and setting. Working closely with the project team, we translated their concepts into pieces that align seamlessly with the spirit of this extraordinary place.

This modern remodel is located in Ambler, PA. This homeowner’s minimalist, semi mid-century style translated beautifully in this space. Designed by Tim Higbee of Closet Works Closet Works is expert at designing new storage pieces that blend seamlessly with the aesthetic of historic homes. Antique homes are unique — there is no stock solution in how to best add storage. In this example, we translated our traditional product into a built-in armoire that blends nicely into the style of the 1874 Victorian.

Set just outside of this beautiful home is a tranquil waterfall cascading into a tropical Koi Pond. After taking a trip to Japan, the homeowner became truly inspired and wanted to translate his experiences into a realistic representation of the memorable place. By utilizing concrete we were able to add a clean, minimalist yet modern twist to this serene setting. No backyard is too small to create a retreat you will enjoy each and every day.

This ocean-front shingled Gambrel style house is home to a young family with little kids who lead an active, outdoor lifestyle. My goal was to create a bespoke, colorful and eclectic interior that looked sophisticated and fresh, but that was tough enough to withstand salt, sand and wet kids galore. The palette of coral and blue is an obvious choice, but we tried to translate it into a less expected, slightly updated way, hence the front door! Our talented design team here at Archadeck of Austin are experts at translating the needs and desires of our clients’ into our outdoor living spaces. For this project, we designed a pergola with a metal roof. The interior of the pergola is spacious enough at 20′ x 15′ to facilitate a changing area covered in cedar slats at one end. In addition, the addition serves as the perfect spot for the homeowner’s to store pool supplies when not in use.
