This Columbia home had one deck which descended directly into their backyard. Rather than tuck their seven person hot tub on the concrete patio below their deck, we constructed a new tier. Their new deck was built with composite decking, making it completely maintenance free. Constructed with three feet concrete piers and post bases attaching each support according to code, this new deck can easily withstand the weight of hundreds of gallons of water and a dozen or more people. Aluminum rails line the stairs and surround the entire deck for aesthetics as well as safety. Taller aluminum supports form a privacy screen with horizontal cedar wood slats. The cedar wall also sports four clothes hooks for robes. The family now has a private place to relax and entertain in their own backyard. Dimensions In Wood is more than 40 years of custom cabinets. he LoculaMENTUM bookcase was designed to meld traditional bookcase appearance with a modern interpretation and a twist. This twist allows for books or other collectible items to be artfully arranged, categorized, presented. Diagonal compartments are the spine of the bookcase, so there is a progression of shapes: from the bottom to the top, creating an uplifting feel that has maximum storage capabilities. This is true to the Bauhaus principle, which denotes “form follows function”. In our bookcase design, warm traditional veneers paired with a modern finish and a versatile compartment proportioning make this piece of furniture one with the space. Beveled edges, visible from every notion, add a distinctive unique touch to the bookcase. A design element that is consistently used in our projects, which translates into sleek streamlined furniture designs.

This amazing über contemporary loft space is located in the heart of the very trendy and oh so upscale Yonge and Eglinton district. This loft oozes style and epitomizes the uptown lifestyle. It's raw industrial look really resonates with the uptown crowd. The polished concrete floors, exposed sprinklers. ductwork and huge 9ft barn doors all helped to set the stage. There was only one problem......it didn't sell! We were called in by the Realtor to give this loft and urban trendy vibe. We encouraged the clients to repaint utilizing a more current, trending palette. We choose a pallet of several grey tones. Our list of suggested updates included, switching out the light fixtures, replacing old worn carpeting with a Berber and staging utilizing key pieces one would expect with the loft look. We brought in contemporary furnishings and decor pieces including a live edge coffee table and a cowhide rug. All of these updates translated to SOLD within weeks of staging! Another successful transformation.

This modern Moroccan pendant light is a stunner. We named it Mishal, which literally translates to lantern. Ideal for small spaces and particularly suitable as a set with Nur. Handmade in Marrakech, Morocco by Artist Mohammed, it takes 30 hours to create each piece. Mishal is available in Copper, Brass or Silver and is finished with a seal that prevents oxidation and therefore does not require polishing.
