At BONE Structure, we believe you should be in complete control when it comes to building your new home. This is why we work very closely with you to make the entire process as seamless and transparent as possible. We set a timeline from day one and progress with efficiency until the day you move in.

At Best Homes, we have a wide variety of floorplans available with customizable options throughout your dream home. We don’t, and won’t, take short cuts in our construction process, nor will we substitute lesser materials and labor costs to compete with lower priced builders. Our pricing is simply based on a percentage over the cost of construction. Our customers appreciate our transparent, no non-sense approach to helping them find the right design and amenity level to fit their desired price point. Stock plans or custom designs, your lot or ours, building with Best Custom Homes is a choice you’ll be glad you made.

Step 6: Construction Oversight
Throughout construction, we oversee every aspect of your project while keeping you fully informed through Buildertrend. You’ll receive regular updates, progress photos, and clear communication so you always know what’s happening.
Remodeling homes in Boulder and Northern Colorado can come with occasional hiccups—whether it’s material lead times or unforeseen conditions behind walls—but these are a normal part of the process. What matters is how they’re handled. Our team stays proactive, solution-focused, and transparent every step of the way.

This project is a renovation of a NW Mid-Century Modern house originally designed and built by an architect in 1957. It has since been untouched for almost 60 years!
I was immediately drawn to the the house's beautiful exposed wood structure and the incredibly lovely tree'd site with views of the Cascades.
We stripped off all of the first floor ceiling finishes (exposing even more wood beams and leaving the 2nd floor wood ceilings alone!) and all of the wall finishes to add seismic integrity to the structure and to upgrade the insulation and wiring, and redesign the baths and kitchen. In the process, I flipped and resized the kitchen and dining room and removed an interior wall, so the house's main living area was open and transparently connected on the north and south to the landscape and views.

Your home is where the heart is. We will ask you the 3 most important questions that guarantee a design you will love. Coupled with Alair's award winning home building ability, and you can have your dream home!
Creating your home begins with our 100% transparent discovery and design process. Based on your guidance we draw up plans, create 3D models, and secure fixed-price quotes; we want you to stop imagining that home and start seeing it. From design to construction you have total control and insight.

Key improvements of this 1938 kitchen remodel involved removing the chimney and the wall that separated the dining room from the kitchen. Appliances were rearranged and new Waypoint cabinets, Cambria countertops, and linear tile backsplash were installed to transform the space. A cute eat-in area with room for two stools was also incorporated. Trim at the existing dining room built ins was modified and the hardwood floors in the dining room and living room were refinished. According to our final survey with this client, our sales and design process was extremely transparent and smooth. During construction they were happy about the project manager’s communication, quality of woodwork, and cleanliness of the jobsite. This remodel was definitely a success story for Castle and the owners of this beautiful Tudor home in NE Minneapolis.
