A young couple and talented mason, Mike Nusdeo, of Ridgeview Stone, collaborated to create this unique fireplace. Its a snap shot in time and was inspired by the homeowners travels to far away places and life at home. This projects tells a story and is complete with a library of first edition stone books. Outdoor fireplace was crafted using Byram Black stone.

After building their first home this Bloomfield couple didn't have any immediate plans on building another until they saw this perfect property for sale. It didn't take them long to make the decision on purchasing it and moving forward with another building project. With the wife working from home it allowed them to become the general contractor for this project. It was a lot of work and a lot of decision making but they are absolutely in love with their new home. We completed this basement renovation just in time for holiday guests. This once unfinished basement now offers a large rec room, media room (check out the painted ceiling) and office. Painting the ceiling of a media room a darker shade (versus white) can help cut back on the glare and keep the screen’s colors true. The client now has so much more livable space to enjoy!

Spectacular red granite boulders through out the rough landscape, harsh winds, intense heat and sometimes, even snow, were all horticultural challenges and inspirations on this beautiful Mediterranean seaside property. Nicholas Walker and his team worked in conjunction with his brother Malcolm to create a stunning series of Belgian Blue Stone terraces and pathways to connect the diverse sections of the property and integrate the indoor and outdoor living experience. They designed a sheltered cactus oasis, organic culinary garden and an intimate Ipe observation deck as virtual rooms linked by the elegant stone pathways and framed by the sea.
