This classical coastal home with architectural details to match has well-placed windows to capture the amazing lakeside views of the property. The 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home was designed with an open floor plan to provide a casual flow from space to space and affording each room with waterside views. Lakeside blue, grey and white hues are incorporated into the home’s color palette and interspersed with warm wood tones. The classic and efficient custom kitchen with two large islands accommodates day to day living with multiple workspaces and ensures effortless entertaining for larger gatherings. Creative storage solutions are incorporated throughout the kitchen with custom tray dividers, pull outs for spices and pantry items, and wine storage. The home boasts beautiful tile work and detailed trim and built ins throughout. A gorgeous wood burning fireplace in the living room creates a warm gathering space for this young family of four. The kitchen is in the portion of the home that was part of an addition by the previous homeowners, which was enclosed and had a very low ceiling. We removed and reframed the roof of the addition portion to vault the ceiling. The new kitchen layout is open to the family room, and has a large square shaped island. Other improvements include natural soapstone countertops, built-in stainless steel appliances and two tone cabinets with brass hardware.

Not the typical “Farmhouse”, this stately with slight lean to Craftsmen style two story home sits prestigiously upon 60 acres of corn farmland. The siding is Portfolio in the warm tone of Cabin, accented with the trim painted in Benjamin Moore Decorators White & Pella Pro-Line white framed windows. This customer wanted to completely update the kitchen making it more modern, in preparation for possibly selling it in the next few years. The design, which included two-tone base and upper cabinets, Cambria SummerHill Quartz, chrome cabinet hardware, arabesque marble backsplash tile, and undercabinet lighting made the final product simply stellar!

Painting this kitchen's cabinets in Sherwin Williams "Alabaster" (for the range wall cabinets) and Benjamin Moore "Iron One" (for the fridge wall and island) completely transformed this space.
