This patio cover was a lighter build than our typical installations, thoughtfully designed to match the footprint of the homeowner’s original structure. We upgraded the materials to sealed rough cedar, offering a warm, natural aesthetic with enhanced durability against Houston’s humidity and sun exposure. For the roofing, we installed R-panel metal, a long-lasting, low-maintenance option that provides excellent protection and a clean, modern look.
Because the entire structure weighs only 375 pounds, we were able to tie the cover in at the eave — a clean, secure connection that preserves the integrity of the existing home while supporting the lightweight design. And unlike traditional nailed assemblies, we screwed the entire cover together, allowing the homeowner to easily disassemble or relocate the structure in the future — a flexible solution that respects both form and function.
If you're considering a custom patio cover in Cypress, Tomball, or Northwest Houston, we specialize in design-driven builds that blend beauty, performance, and long-term value. For an 1890s-era property in Northborough, Massachusetts, we completely revitalized the kitchen to be a beautiful gathering spot for a busy family. The homeowners wanted to ensure the space paid homage to the heritage style of the home while maintaining an open and minimalist aesthetic.
To that end, we removed all the wall cabinets and incorporated most of the storage in the base cabinets. The simple Shaker-style doors with brass hardware fit perfectly into the design, with the painted green and natural rustic walnut cabinets offering a gorgeous contrast to the white cabinets. To further transform the kitchen, we added more windows to the previously dark, enclosed space. The ceiling beams are reclaimed wood beams from a mill building in the area and complement the custom walnut butcher block and rustic walnut glass wall cabinet. Another unique feature is the weathered, matte soapstone finish of the black granite on the countertops rather than the more typical polished effect.

Ligne Roset - PRADO Sofa
by Christian Werner
Typically the design process surrounding a new sofa is heavily focused on aesthetic research. Prado represents a departure from this school of thought completely. Prado has first and foremost been designed based on the study of lifestyles and human nature. We find the same inspirations in Prado that brought us Smala in the earlier part of this century. Prado consists of a vast bench seat that can be combined and adjusted as desired and onto which back cushions may be placed at will, so that one can sit or lie down as they wish. It offers complete freedom as these cushions, weighted and equipped with a non-slip system, do not need to be rested against or attached to any object for support. They could, therefore, be arranged on the floor for a few leisurely moments around a low table, while the seat (cushion) could double as an occasional bed simply with a flip of its seat cushion to expose a side covered with mattress ticking. Collection includes and optional fitted sheet when using this option.

Inspiration for a mid-sized transitional freestanding desk carpeted study room remodel in Orange County

This dreamy master bath remodel in East Cobb offers generous space without going overboard in square footage. The homeowner chose to go with a large double vanity with a custom seated space as well as a nice shower with custom features and decided to forgo the typical big soaking tub.
The vanity area shown in the photos has plenty of storage within the wall cabinets and the large drawers below.
The countertop is Cedar Brown slab marble with undermount sinks. The brushed nickel metal details were done to work with the theme through out the home. The floor is a 12x24 honed Crema Marfil.
The stunning crystal chandelier draws the eye up and adds to the simplistic glamour of the bath.
The shower was done with an elegant combination of tumbled and polished Crema Marfil, two rows of Emperador Light inlay and Mirage Glass Tiles, Flower Series, Polished.
