This is an organic Lime Wash done with a true lime wash product as opposed to a brick mortar or concrete that is often seen on new houses. This product can be applied as a solid coating making the surface completely white, or can be applied and "washed off" in many artistic ways, as seen here. The grey trend has evolved in the last twelve months. Nowadays browns, beige and a touch of grey are in demand. Greige is the new buzzword. This 30" x 24" abstract acrylic painting has been done in shades of cobalt blue, sky blue, citrine, chartreuse, white, soft sea green, and royal blue. This contemporary/modern bathroom uses a combination of grey and beige to make a beautiful blend of Greige. The Charcoal stain on the cabinets is also a great blend of the 2 colors giving just enough warmth to the room. We used Marazzi Lounge 14 Spritzer 12x24 porcelain tile on the ground and the decorative inlay on the shower. New Caledonia Granite and BEHR- Studio Taupe on the walls.
