Black-painted oak treads and handrail, which match the upstairs hardwood flooring, are paired with crisp white risers, establishing a bold foundation for the design, while a custom wrought-iron balustrade brings Old World craftsmanship to the space. Rounded bullnose starting steps on each staircase provide an elegant invitation to ascend, softening the grand scale with graceful curves. This contemporary farmhouse is located on a scenic acreage in Greendale, BC. It features an open floor plan with room for hosting a large crowd, a large kitchen with double wall ovens, tons of counter space, a custom range hood and was designed to maximize natural light. Shed dormers with windows up high flood the living areas with daylight. The stairwells feature more windows to give them an open, airy feel, and custom black iron railings designed and crafted by a talented local blacksmith. The home is very energy efficient, featuring R32 ICF construction throughout, R60 spray foam in the roof, window coatings that minimize solar heat gain, an HRV system to ensure good air quality, and LED lighting throughout. Huge re-model including taking ceiling from a flat ceiling to a complete transformation. Bamboo custom cabinetry was given a grey stain, mixed with walnut strip on the bar and the island given a different stain. Huge amounts of storage from deep pan corner drawers, roll out trash, coffee station, built in refrigerator, wine and alcohol storage, appliance garage, pantry and appliance storage, the amounts go on and on. Floating shelves with a back that just grabs the eye takes this kitchen to another level. The clients are thrilled with this huge difference from their original space.

Large bathroom and separate laundry room. Shower features large format tiles with multiple shower sprayers, heated floors, and custom tall cabinetry for a closet solution. The bathroom also features a textured wallpaper wall beyond the double vanity sinks. The laundry room is a fun escape with custom cabinetry with pullout folding shelves, a fun wallpaper, and tile flooring

This laundry room is part of our Country Club Kitchen Remodel project in North Reading MA. The cabinets are Tedd Wood Cabinetry in Monument Gray with brushed satin nickel hardware. The compact Bosch washer and dryer are installed on a raised platform to allow space for drawers below that hold their laundry baskets. The tall cabinets provide additional storage for cleaning supplies. The porcelain tile floor is Norgestone Novebell Slate.
