Design was inspired by the landscape found in the ocean. Colors, textures, shape, and elements like coral reef and seaweed influenced this "Underwater" landscape. Flagstone placement inspired by the "grass of the sea," seaweed. Flagstone engages viewer to experience entire landscape.

Inspiration for a timeless kids' room remodel in New York

At Betz we pride ourselves in rising to any design challenge whether it's a small yard, steep slope or conservation concerns. Although diminutive in size, this inviting 'plunge pool' makes a big impression with its dramatic zero-edge wall and top-of-slope location. Finished in white Armourcoat with a blue quartz fleck, it features both an underwater bench and semi-circular steps decoratively edged in tile. Wiarton flagstone decking and coping define the attractive seating area. (13 x 27, custom shape)

This small urban yard was transformed into a leisure sanctuary. A custom fence with mirrored panels adds a sense of space while blocking the view of the driveway. The pool, with underwater bench at the deep end, is finished in light gray Armourcoat with gray/blue tile and natural stone along the waterline. Three sheer descents along the back wall add glamour to the pool and spa. An equipment area in the garage allows for year round use of the spa. (14 x 20, custom rectangular)
