Hudson Valley Lighting - 5115-AN
We built these 19th century dock lights to marine standards of durability. Naugatuck’s pressed glass diffuser fastens with cast metal tension clips to shield these nautically inspired lamps from the surf’s spray. The diffuser’s concentric circle pattern complements the shade’s ripple design, evoking the “Fresnel glass” used to project the beacon from a lighthouse.

This complete bathroom renovation breathed new life into the space, taking it from a dated layout to a bright, sophisticated oasis. By gutting the original footprint and removing an underutilized bathtub, we maximized the room's potential and paved the way for a stunning, high-end transformation.
Key Design Features:
Luxury Walk-In Shower: The star of the renovation is the spacious walk-in shower, featuring floor-to-ceiling textured zellige-style tiling in a warm, neutral palette. Equipped with premium brushed-gold plumbing fixtures—including a traditional shower head, handheld wand, and a built-in bench—it offers a true spa-like experience.
Elegant Marble Vanity: We installed a custom vanity topped with a striking, heavily veined white marble countertop and a deep undermount sink. The rich grey and charcoal veins in the marble beautifully contrast with the gleaming brushed-gold widespread faucet and hardware.
Custom Trim & Architecture: To add character and timeless architectural interest, we introduced vertical tongue-and-groove wall paneling (beadboard/v-groove) along the walls, perfectly paired with crisp, classic trim work around the window and baseboards.
Upgraded Lighting & Details: The space is illuminated with thoughtfully placed new lighting that highlights the natural stone textures. Every detail, down to the geometric star-and-cross floor tile and the integrated wooden storage shelving, was curated to balance modern functionality with classic elegance.

We took this dated Master Bathroom and leveraged its size to create a spa like space and experience. The expansive space features a large vanity with storage cabinets that feature SOLLiD Value Series – Tahoe Ash cabinets, Fairmont Designs Apron sinks, granite countertops and Tahoe Ash matching mirror frames for a modern rustic feel. The design is completed with Jeffrey Alexander by Hardware Resources Durham cabinet pulls that are a perfect touch to the design. We removed the glass block snail shower and the large tub deck and replaced them with a large walk-in shower and stand-alone bathtub to maximize the size and feel of the space. The floor tile is travertine and the shower is a mix of travertine and marble. The water closet is accented with Stikwood Reclaimed Weathered Wood to bring a little character to a usually neglected spot!

Located in the heart of a 1920’s urban neighborhood, this classically designed home went through a dramatic transformation. Several updates over the years had rendered the space dated and feeling disjointed. The main level received cosmetic updates to the kitchen, dining, formal living and family room to bring the decor out of the 90’s and into the 21st century. Space from a coat closet and laundry room was reallocated to the transformation of a storage closet into a stylish powder room. Upstairs, custom cabinetry, built-ins, along with fixture and material updates revamped the look and feel of the bedrooms and bathrooms. But the most striking alterations occurred on the home’s exterior, with the addition of a 24′ x 52′ pool complete with built-in tanning shelf, programmable LED lights and bubblers as well as an elevated spa with waterfall feature. A custom pool house was added to compliment the original architecture of the main home while adding a kitchenette, changing facilities and storage space to enhance the functionality of the pool area. The landscaping received a complete overhaul and Oaks Rialto pavers were added surrounding the pool, along with a lounge space shaded by a custom-built pergola. These renovations and additions converted this residence from well-worn to a stunning, urban oasis.

The kitchen was at the top of the list for a total overhaul – the worn oak cabinets, dated appliances, and clunky layout all had to go. Removing the decorative soffits allowed us to take the new cabinetry all the way to the ceiling, adding functional storage and visually extending the room’s height. We reconfigured the layout from a modified U to an L-shape which accomplished several things – it opened up the kitchen to the dining room, redirected circulation, and most importantly, created space for an island. Now the kitchen easily flows into the adjacent dining room. T
The finish selections and clean lines give a nod to the home’s mid-century bones. The wood island provides warmth and the light quartz countertops, textured backsplash and white cabinets keep the kitchen feeling light and bright. The matte black faucet, hardware and decorative pendants add another level of visual interest to the modern kitchen. To unify the kitchen and dining room, we replaced the drab kitchen flooring with select red oak hardwoods that were expertly installed and refinished to match the gorgeous wood flooring throughout the home.

The primary bedroom and bathroom are the showstoppers of this phase! Unused and awkwardly located closets in both the bedroom and bathroom were removed to make way for additional square-footage in the bath and replaced with a sizable and functional reach-in closet in the bedroom. A dated and cramped shower stall was removed in favor for an expansive step in shower spanning the width of the bathroom and a new transom window washes the room in natural light. While the previous bathroom was only able to accommodate a single vanity, the new layout allowed us to create double matching vanities mirrored across from each other - a much appreciated addition for a primary bath. Floating walnut vanities boast impressive storage and are capped with tower cabinets with hidden outlets for charging and storing electronic bathroom tools. While the color palette is restrained - black, white, gray, and brown - the result is a timelessly modern and masculine space that is at once striking and warm. Modern geometric patterns play with each other throughout the material selections.

Contemporary/ Modern Ceiling Lamp - La Paz Ceiling Chandelier Gold 12 - Lighting by Iris Design Studio LtdThis gorgeous contemporary chandelier is a beautiful pendant light fixture for the center of any space.Inspiration:"Designed for the curious ones, the La Paz series showcases a small, yet strong light source hiding within the more familiar Edison bulb. This simple bulb is familiar and commonplace, but in Iris' hands, La Paz underwent a startling metamorphosis. The wonder of the piece is expressed in the way that diverse elements combine to create something that is, at its core, as old as the industrial revolution, but depicted here in a new, astonishing form. As a light source within a light source, La Paz invokes the spirit of innovation that dates from the Industrial Revolution. In the space between what you know and what you have never imagined, lies La Paz. "

A lakeside home with limited outdoor space was in dire need of an innovative solution to transform this extremely dated backyard into an entertaining destination. The design solution incorporated an infinity edge pool, automated fire pit, outdoor kitchen, cabana, sun deck, and state of the art technology. The design was presented in 3-D to help the clients fully understand the creative use of space and elevation. The pool structure was literally cut in half to be prepared to increase the size and add an infinity edge. Due to the expansive soils and the new pool structure being built within 30” of the water’s edge, advanced construction techniques for stabilization were incorporated. The soil was chemically injected to control expansive movement and tight access concrete piers combined with helical anchors were installed to shore the new pool structure and infinity edge basin. In addition, the new decks were built over the water with many helical anchors installed in the water and drilled to over 30 kips per pier. The decks were designed to hold parking structure weight, not just a family entertaining. In addition, again due to the expansive soils and extreme slope the new deck, built from the latest technology decking supplied by Trex, was constructed on more than 50 concrete piers. The entire backyard incorporates the latest technology and can all be controlled via the home owner’s smart phone or computer. A few of the Amenities include; fully automated fire pit, multiple color changing LED lights in the pool and basin, under water speakers, full surround A/V system, deck accent lighting, step lights, cabana lighting and accents, water features, and more. This project was a true technical achievement implementing advanced engineering and the final result is a magnificent luxury outdoor living environment!
