Formerly heavy in red oak — from cabinets to floors to walls — this lake cabin needed love.
The kitchen was completely gutted and new KraftMaid cabinetry was added. An oblique art-glass tile backsplash incorporated warm tones of terra cotta, slate blue, taupe and ivory. This blends beautifully with the Cambria Bradshaw quartz countertops, with its flakes of copper and mica, and veins of caramel and charcoal.
The former boring 12"x12" beige tile floor was replaced with 12"x20" oblong tile with a custom inset of coordinating tiles with copper tile rosettes.
A custom faux-painted range hood mimics the look of patina copper.
Other features include copper lighting, a microwave drawer, double ovens, SilGranit Sink, Delta faucet and a custom valance.

Loved working with all the goodies this client gathered from her many travels. Great oriental dining set worked well with the changes to give her condo a fresh look. Starting with a custom valance in a modern woven leaf pattern finished with black and white licorice trim. The chandelier continued the leap pattern and the wall to the right was painted a rich red and showcased an amazing leopard painting. The lady lamp with the umbrella shade was graceful and artistic. Custom pillows added color and design to the off white sofa. An animal print rug defined the living room as it's own space. Two zebra chairs flanked the wall opposite the sofa. All rooms with the exception of the kitchen were a part of this project.

The Family Room was streamlined with a single wedge shaped sectional, placed on a patterned area rug. The throw pillows provide a counter-point to the dark brown field of the rug and the pattern on the valance is a counter-point to the border on the rug. Additional seating is provided with a leather recliner.

The custom pleated valance with patterned fabric has a contrasting teal band with decorative beaded trim. It is thoughtful details like these that make this kitchen feel truly custom.

This beautiful kitchen is a complete transformation from what the clients had before The new white shaker style cabinets and beveled, taupe, subway tile back splash, go wonderfully with the contrasting black granite counter tops.
I added a gorgeous geometric roman valance to add a little pattern. The vinyle floors were the perfect solution for this contemporary kitchen, the subtle pattern gives the impression the room is larger than it is.
