Approx. 1800 square foot basement where client wanted to break away from their more formal main level. Requirements included a TV area, bar, game room, guest bedroom and bath. Having previously remolded the main level of this home; Home Expressions Interiors was contracted to design and build a space that is kid friendly and equally comfortable for adult entertaining. Mercury glass pendant fixtures coupled with rustic beams and gray stained wood planks are the highlights of the bar area. Heavily grouted brick walls add character and warmth to the back bar and media area. Gray walls with lighter hued ceilings along with simple craftsman inspired columns painted crisp white maintain a fresh and airy feel. Wood look porcelain tile helps complete a space that is durable and ready for family fun.

Conceptually the Clark Street remodel began with an idea of creating a new entry. The existing home foyer was non-existent and cramped with the back of the stair abutting the front door. By defining an exterior point of entry and creating a radius interior stair, the home instantly opens up and becomes more inviting. From there, further connections to the exterior were made through large sliding doors and a redesigned exterior deck. We gave this industrial time capsule an urban facelift by enhancing the 19-century architecture with a mix of metals, textures and sleek surfaces to appeal to a sassy & youthful lifestyle. Transcending time and place, we designed this loft to be clearly confident, uniquely refined while maintaining its authentic bones.

History, revived. An early 19th century Dutch farmstead, nestled in the hillside of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, offered a storied canvas on which to layer replicated additions and contemporary components. Endowed with an extensive art collection, the house and barn serve as a platform for aesthetic appreciation in all forms.

The entry foyer sets the tone for this Florida home. A collection of black and white artwork adds personality to this brand new home. A star pendant light casts beautiful shadows in the evening and a mercury glass lamp adds a soft glow. We added a large brass tray to corral clutter and a duo of concrete vases make the entry feel special. The hand knotted rug in an abstract blue, gray, and ivory pattern hints at the colors to be found throughout the home.
