Banker Wire’s architectural woven mesh is a key design element in the Willow Park Showhome, built by Zen Custom Homes and designed by AstonMorrone Designs. Utilized in two separate applications within the home—as a wall divider in the office, and as a statement kitchen island feature—the designer relied on Banker Wire’s M22-83 wire mesh pattern to create visual separations that allow the light to pass through, without impeding the flow of the open-planned space.
Acting as a statement kitchen counter partition, M22-83’s stainless steel and brass finish brings warmth to the expansive, open kitchen. Fabricated within a red maple-colored wood frame, the wire mesh creates a dividing screen by connecting the bottom of the kitchen counter with the wood ceiling accent above, which spans the length and width of the counter. When lit by the kitchen ceiling lighting source, M22-83 is brought to life; created using a pair of nested helical crimped woven wires to define the circular mesh shape, this pattern’s doubled circle mesh creates unique reflective surfaces, allowing the light to pass through the mesh in varying ways. Similarly, this combination of stainless steel and brass gives off a colorful, luxurious aesthetic, where the depth and movement of the contrasting woven wires—of silver and gold tones—dynamically change as the viewer’s perspective shifts. In addition to creating a striking, statement background for the lights to reflect off of, this wood-mesh divider installation directs the line of sight towards the outside view of the home’s backyard.
The double woven nature of the M22-83 pattern gives strength to this weave, making it a suitable option for a screen wall or space divider. The wire mesh application within this showhome office space acts as a partition that visually divides the front foyer while doubling as the back of a shelving wall. With the goal of creating a space that can be used as a flex-room or a working studio, the design team prioritized having natural light and a connection to the rest of the home. The Banker Wire mesh allows the sound and light to pass from the peripheral spaces through the length of the office space, with the trees in the transom windows located in the front foyer visible from behind the wire mesh divider wall. Additionally, the stainless steel and brass finish mirrors the wood millwork accents within the space, further adding to the masculine aesthetic of the design scheme while providing contrasting texture.

An expressive family home in Clapham.
The Brief
The brief was to create a new ground floor. It needed to be a flexible home capable of accommodating guests of all ages whilst maintaining purpose and separation between spaces.
The Solution
We proposed re-routing the hallway to become a central corridor through the ground floor plan. This would connect the rear and front halves of the property across a series of staggered level changes. We also wanted to create an enlarged rear space for entertainment that linked to the garden space.
The removal of an existing courtyard allowed for the insertion of a boot room and relocated WC central to the plan.
Separating the distinctly classical detailing of the front reception and dining room, which emphasises our clients’ favoured style and family backgrounds, from the sleek contemporary rear kitchen and entertainment space was successfully enhanced by the varied format of the timber flooring from Trunk.
Maintaining visual connectivity was achieved by way of two sizeable glazed pocket doors that enable the two halves of the plan to be differentiated from each other. At the same time, the use of internal glazing supports views through the property to the remodelled rear garden.
The bespoke designed kitchen from Eclectic Interiors introduces the user to the modernised rear extension, which features sharp detailing and a splash of colour from the feature media unit designed by our interiors team.
The symmetrical rear elevation carries through to the garden making for an interconnected, seamless transition through the property.
The Result
The combination of classical and contemporary elements marry together well to support flexible family living and entertaining. Our clients are delighted with the outcome and feel that it meets their brief and design aspirations.

The client wanted a kitchen that created a warm and cozy feeling where family and friends would feel right at home. She sought a kitchen that was of the highest quality cabinetry and a designer that would really listen to her needs and wants. The Pewter glaze overtones on the cherry wood tie in with the distressed gray island; the Silestone Quartz Soapstone around the perimeter provides a neutral background, while the island has a more dramatic polished granite with cream, rose and brown tones to become a beautiful centerpiece.
The cabinets are heavily detailed with beaded sides and backs, inset doors, chamfered corners wherever possible, toe valances and applied mouldings around the entire base to add a rich, handcrafted look. The heights of the cabinets vary to reduce uniformity, adding to the casual charm. An apron front sink also contributes to the country look. The desk is particularly fanciful with it’s mullion doors, French Country open shelves with beaded sides and back, curved and beaded valance and drawer with multiple drawerheads / applied molding. We also incorporated doors that come all the way to the counter to hide the usual home office clutter. The lower part of the desk includes many drawers of various sizes and even a special locking file drawer. The beautiful dark gray island boasts French Country open shelves with arched and beaded valances, a fluting detail on each corner of the cookbook shelves, toe details, lots of beadboard, and a variety of storage options for cooking utensils, pans, and serving dishes.

Modbarn house interior designed by STUDIO KONDE Konrad Idaszewski Architekt, an interior architecture project from Poznań focused on a contemporary interpretation of the modern barn, combining generous proportions, natural materials and carefully composed details.
Project details: https://conde.pl/portfolio/gotowy-projekt-wnetrz-nowoczesnej-stodoly-modbarn/
Modbarn belongs to the Modelowedomy collection of three individually configurable houses, developed to offer different approaches to contemporary residential architecture and interior design. Its high living room and dining area create an open, spacious setting, while the kitchen is partially separated from the living space by a custom-designed openwork shelving unit.
Contemporary living room designed as part of a modern house interior project in Poland, combining soft neutral tones, warm timber, sculptural furniture and large glazed surfaces. The generous lounge area is arranged around a comfortable sectional sofa and rounded coffee tables, with the extensive glazing opening the interior towards the garden and allowing natural light to emphasize the calm, refined character of the space.
A large L-shaped sofa upholstered in warm beige fabric forms the centre of the living area, with its generous proportions creating an inviting place for relaxation. Soft cushions and a textured throw add layers of tactile detail, while the rounded edges of the upholstery echo the curved forms used throughout the furniture arrangement. In front of the sofa, a large circular coffee table with a smooth white top and cylindrical base is paired with a smaller fluted table, creating a composition of contrasting textures and proportions. A natural wooden bowl provides a restrained decorative accent on the main tabletop.
Underneath the seating group, a large textured rug introduces a subtle geometric pattern in shades of cream and beige, visually defining the lounge zone against the herringbone timber floor. Beside the sofa, a generously padded round ottoman with a quilted finish continues the soft, rounded language of the interior. The combination of natural oak flooring, light upholstery and tactile fabrics gives the living room a warm character while maintaining the minimalist aesthetic of the Modbarn house interior.
Behind the sofa, a substantial openwork shelving unit in natural wood acts as a partially transparent architectural divider between the living and dining areas. Its vertical structure and varied rectangular compartments provide both storage and space for decorative objects without closing off the adjoining zone. Carefully selected accessories, including a striking red sculptural vase and a green cactus-shaped ornament, introduce subtle colour accents against the warm timber background.
The considerable height of the living room is reinforced by a series of slim white pendant lights suspended at different levels, adding rhythm to the upper part of the interior. Large floor-to-ceiling glazing occupies the side of the room, framed by long grey curtains and light vertical blinds. Mature trees, lawn and the garden visible beyond the glass become part of the composition, strengthening the relationship between the interior and its surroundings. This combination of high-volume architecture, custom timber detailing, comfortable contemporary furniture and natural finishes reflects the approach of STUDIO KONDE, an interior architect studio from Poznań creating distinctive residential interiors within the Modelowedomy collection.

Whitegold Craft Orchard Limestone has a face that is gently cleaved and dimpled with swaths of seashell white and sandy-gray on a background of ivory. Its uneven edges and varied rectangular shapes soften the formality of an ashlar profile.
