We gave this newly-built weekend home in New London, New Hampshire a colorful and contemporary interior style. The successful result of a partnership with Smart Architecture, Grace Hill Construction and Terri Wilcox Gardens, we translated the contemporary-style architecture into modern, yet comfortable interiors for a Massachusetts family. Creating a lake home designed for gatherings of extended family and friends that will produce wonderful memories for many years to come.

Inspiration for a large contemporary formal and open concept medium tone wood floor living room remodel in Miami with white walls and no fireplace

Remodeled screen porch to create a sunroom. This bold, collected and colorful sunroom was designed with the intention of capturing as much lighting as we could, the windows replaced the screens that were originally in place. The columns were antique columns that created a unique transition from the kitchen & dining room to the sunroom. The teak bench is from Indonesia, the berber rug is Moroccan, the tiki ottoman and french bistro table alongside the antique, wooden, pig trough coffee table with wood straps were the perfect eclectic mix to give the feel of an exotic space within the home. Our tie in touch was the ceiling color which reflected the outdoor swimming pool through it's cool blue color, a final touch that brought the indoor-outdoor concept to life. My painting Seeds has a lot of hidden smily faces. It brings an uplifting spirit and joyful accent to this formal space with marble floor.

The winding staircase and the marble floor are already spectacular, yet my painting of Seeds with many hidden smily faces bring a lot of whim and a sparkle of joy to this formal entrance.

Facing the navy blue sofa are two chairs, one upholstered and one rattan; with a brass accent table in between. We really went “artistic” on this wall, off-centering the round, gold mirror with two graphic watercolor prints.

Every detail was specifically chosen to make our clients' hearts sing so that she can be immersed into a space that truly feels like her own. Our client has been creating beautiful bouquets for family and friends in her new greenhouse retreat located on the family’s Oakland Township property, ever since the project's completion in 2021.

This wood and brass bookshelf is another example of how we incorporated vintage finds into this office space. The baskets as shown ABOVE are from Re-Store Williamsburg, as well are the books. While the tall, patterned vase is from Target, the hand-painted bowl with the water-foul on it is from a local antique store. I had purchased it several months ago with the hope of placing it in a project. With the green rim and the vintage feel, I can’t think of a better space to have placed it in!
