Design ideas for a mid-sized traditional partial sun backyard mulch vegetable garden landscape in Denver for spring.

This steeply sloping mountain lot has fantastic southern exposure and with the help of these boulder walls, access to some narrow and linear, but productive vegetable garden beds.

Newly built vegetable garden. Beds are 4 inch cedar, pathways are river stone, contained on the perimeter by steel edging. Critterfence deters rabbits without obscuring the architecture of the garden. In the rear, support posts contain raspberries.

Newly built vegetable garden parterre. Cedar raised beds are surrounded by wood chip pathways and enclosed by Critterfence, deterring both deer and smaller pests without detracting from the garden's architecture. Along the western edge, a pollinator friendly perennial planting frames the view from the deck.

HomeHarvest designed and built these custom cedar raised beds. Each bed has a built in reservoir, which makes them self-watering and only require watering once a week!
