Our clients for this project asked our Miami studio to give their house a complete facelift and renovation while they were in transit from North Carolina. The beautiful family with young children wanted to change the kitchen, master bedroom, kids suites, and living room. We loved that our clients were not afraid of colors and patterns and were always open to pushing the envelope when we incorporated certain palettes and fabrics throughout the house. We also accommodated some of the existing furniture from our clients' old home in NC. Our team coordinated all the logistics for them to move into their new home, including picking up their vehicles, managing the moving company, and having their home ready for when they walked in. --- Project designed by Miami interior designer Margarita Bravo. Inspiration for a transitional living room remodel in Miami

This 1930’s Deco building was converted from a hospital to a condominium in the 1980’s. The lobby which was renovated at the same time was ponderous and dark, incorporating heavy horizontal detailing and cheap glitzy brass banding. Our goal was to re-establish the grandeur of the Main Lobby. We created a domed space, which houses a bold, breathtaking pendant fixture. The scalloped plaster molding, mirror treatment and floor design reaffirm the Deco style. The color palate of silver, bronze, limestone and ebonized mahogany also enhance the Deco ambiance; timeless and elegant. ‘ALL PHOTOS BY PETER VITALE’

This home office started with IKEA desk components. Bookcases were built on both sides of the window, with a window seat below that has copious storage for office supplies. An antique Asian armoire offers stylish storage for larger items. Custom bulletin boards on either side of the armoire make handy backboards for samples. Walls are covered in grasscloth wallpaper.

This bedroom got a much needed makeover. The homeowner wanted to maximize the amount of light but also have an option to keep her room cool from the hot California sun. Kitchen - transitional kitchen idea in Kansas City

This after photo shows a large under-mount Blanco sink and the single lever faucet, task lighting below the upper cabinets, and puck lights over the sink. The outlet switches, required by code, were installed horizontally close to the counter top to minimize them visually and not interfere with backsplash design. Over the sink, Ulrich Inc. installed a larger Andersen casement window, that Julia sourced. This window is so easy to operate. Julia found the perfect towel bar from Mockett to keep the dish towel handy. To the left of the sink is the dishwasher with a custom cabinet insert. To the right the four drawer cabinet was recessed and new molding was installed. The countertop is Caesarstone in pebble.
