This in-fill custom home in the heart of Chaplin Crescent Estates belonged to a young couple whose family was growing. They enlisted the help of Lumar Interiors to help make their family room more functional and comfortable. We designed a custom sized table to fit by the window. New upholstered furniture was designed to fit the small space and allow maximum seating. Project by Richmond Hill interior design firm Lumar Interiors. Our goal on this project was to make the main floor of this lovely early 20th century home in a popular Vancouver neighborhood work for a growing family of four. We opened up the space, both literally and aesthetically, with windows and skylights, an efficient layout, some carefully selected furniture pieces and a soft colour palette that lends a light and playful feel to the space. Our clients can hardly believe that their once small, dark, uncomfortable main floor has become a bright, functional and beautiful space where they can now comfortably host friends and hang out as a family. This newly built family home in the heart of Gilbert, Arizona has beautiful bones but needed a design direction. The clients were confident on their modern black, white, and gray color scheme but they needed guidance to drive a cohesive style. This was done through paint, wallpaper, furnishings, finishes, wall wood working, and overall design scheme.

*BEFORE PICTURE* This fully virtual design project was a collaboration with a Connecticut-based designer for a young professional woman looking to refresh her bathroom. The goal was to blend mid-century modern elegance with contemporary luxury, creating a sophisticated, functional retreat. I worked around key elements the client already had, like gold faucets and shower hardware, and took charge of selecting everything else—from limestone polished floor tiles to deep green zellige bathroom tiles, a custom toilet room door, wallpaper, and decorative accents. I designed a neutral color palette to complement the tiles and added a gold wall sconce, tying the space together with sophistication. The heated towel rack and matching accents brought warmth to the space, all coordinated online with samples delivered across the country.
