Audra Miller Interiors' client is handicapped and this bathroom is fully functional to access all features easily with his wheelchair. The design concept was created to be clean, simple, yet textural, mixing materials to bring in color.

Where the range once stood in the original design, now an entire wall of windows provides panoramic views of the outdoors and fills the kitchen with light. Below the windows, Han designed a long bank of base cabinets with drawers to provide plenty of storage and work surface. Light now pours into the space even on foggy days. The range was moved to the opposite wall so that beautiful window views could be added to the kitchen. Han selected a palette of finishes with an eye toward creating a "soft color aesthetic". "White painted finishes are very popular right now but would have felt stark and cold in this space," she explained. "The French grey paint from Dura Supreme was a perfect complement for this vintage Victorian home, to create a classic color scheme". "This beautiful home already had hardware elements with a vintage brass finish, so I carefully selected antiqued, brushed brass hardware, plumbing and metal finishes to blend with the original elements," said Han. It was a mutual love of Italy, specifically the Tuscan countryside, that inspired renowned architect Mark Scheurer and his wife, Jane, to build their dream home in a simplistic, but elegant style reminiscent of a centuries old Italian farmhouse. Scheurer’s aim was to bring light, air, and an indoor/outdoor feeling into the home while preserving privacy throughout this rustic Southern California home, all of which was achieved a lot in part due to the implementation of Eldorado Stone. The use of stone was a predominant element throughout the design. Scheurer used 2,800 square feet of a custom blend of Eldorado’s Veneto Fieldledge and Hillstone profiles, both of which were applied with an overgrout technique, creating a sense of ageless authenticity and textural beauty. Another 500 square feet was used in the interior to create a dramatic focal point of exposed stone in the living room and boast large, arching windows that open up the living room and filter in light. Upstairs, the master bedroom continues the home’s rustic Italian design with exposed stone walls that reach to the beamed ceiling above. Although Scheurer is in a neighborhood that request for real products to be used in home construction, he had no problem obtaining approval to use Eldorado Stone, which speaks volumes about Eldorado’s beauty and believability. No one doubted the authenticity of the product. In fact, Scheurer believes that Eldorado is even better than natural stone in that the color palette is easily controlled as well as consistent. This spectacular free form pool was built into the side of a sand dune in New Smyrna Beach. Our client was a retired high-end homebuilder from the Hamptons, referred by Collado Real Estate. All Aqua Pools completed all aspects of this backyard paradise. Not only the pool design and build, but also the pool deck, walls, landscape design and landscaping, irrigation, fencing, and LED lighting of the pool and landscape. The retaining wall at one end of the pool includes two staircases to provide a jumping off point as well as a four foot high location for the three 24″ sheer waterfalls. This pool also features a large sun shelf for luxuriating and a bench around the perimeter of much of the pool. The walls are made of Baystone Travertine Cladding, and the interior is lined with Wet Edge North Shore Tahoe, and of course like all of our pools it features a Paramount PCC-2000 self-cleaning floor system which circulates the water from the bottom, resulting in sparkling water with very little maintenance.
