This cozy white traditional kitchen was redesigned to provide an open concept feel to the dining area. The dark wood ceiling beams, clear glass cabinet doors, Bianco Sardo granite countertops and white subway tile backsplash unite the quaint space.

A custom railing system was created using square balusters intermixed with paddle balusters and an over-the-top railing. Painted risers and oak wood treads paired with a custom rug runner and mirrored sconces complete the look. The large artwork in the upper level is custom by an amazing artist, who happens to be the homeowner's daughter.

Our renovation of a 1930's bungalow focused on opening up the kitchen/dining/living areas to improve flow and connectivity between the spaces. The rustic reclaimed beams help delineate the spaces visually and add texture and warmth. The original white oak floors were refinished with a custom stain to evoke the wood’s natural raw state. We brought color into the space with the ‘blue spruce’ base cabinets and a custom reclaimed island top. The Calacatta gold quartz countertops, hexagon backsplash, and white upper cabinets keep the space feeling light and bright.

The entry door opens to a large informal open space leading to a three-story stair. Wood treads and painted risers with individual iron balluster pickets reinforce an un-assuming style.

The entryway leads into the home with soft muted colors on the walls and original wainscot. The unfinished substrate of the staircase had been built originally with incorrect measurements. The stairs had to be completely deconstructed and rebuilt from the ground up. New stair risers and treads coordinate with decorative metal spindles and banisters. The hardwood flooring is custom made, 5/8" x 3,5,7" plank. Wirebrush rustic white oak with a custom bevel, stain and finish. Stair treads are solid white oak with paint grade risers to match the floors.
