This kitchen is full of fun elements that reflect the clients personality. Taking their favorite color into consideration, purple was used as an accent and incorporated into the display cube making it a focal point in the kitchen. This accent color highlights the small flecks of amethyst within the countertop material that is continued through the waterfall peninsula and surrounds the fireplace in the adjacent room. Because of the long run of large windows in this kitchen, we had the opportunity to design with primarily base cabinets making the space feel very open and airy and maximized the amount of natural light coming in. In order to break up the long run of cabinetry, we intentionally designed a darker finish around the Galley Workstation. Having a great view of the beautiful backyard is an added bonus!

The Galley Ideal Workstation 4 includes a graphite wood composite culinary kit. The Galley Tap, Soap Dispenser and Deck Switch are all in Matte Stainless.

This generously sized open transitional kitchen we designed combines white perimeter cabinets with dark grayish blue cabinets for the large island. The kitchen features a concealed coffee center and both stainless and paneled appliances which include a dishwasher, ice maker, undercounter two drawer refrigerator, double ovens, full size side-by-side freezer and refrigerator, drop-down door microwave oven, induction cooktop, and the super functional Galley Workstation.

Built in 1995, various rooms in this house not only needed a facelift but required adaptation to the homeowners needs. An avid at-home chef, the client was looking for a 21st century kitchen ready for their next big meal. Appliances were moved, storage was added, and flow and functionality were enhanced. A Galley Workstation replaced the traditional kitchen sink, and additional hidden features such as a well-organized pantry, pop-up mixer, and tray dividers further the kitchen's functionality. The client even requested spice drawers on either side of the stove to have everything at their finger tips. The laundry room was redesigned and its door was relocated to make the space an easily accessible extension of the kitchen. One thing led to another, and since the family room opens up to the kitchen, it was a great opportunity to update the fireplace with paint, a new stone surround and custom-built mantle. And finally, with aging parents, the homeowner needed a guest bathroom that was safe and easy to use. A low-curb shower and accent lighting under the bathroom cabinet make the space safer and more accessible for everyone.
