This fairly typical re-side project of a fairly typical suburban one story. The original press-board siding and trim was literally falling off the house. The previous owner had already installed some Hardie 4x8 vertical panels so we left those and replaced the rest with James Hardie lap siding and trim. We then painted the house 2 tone Gray and replaced the brown drip edge for a cleaner look. A year later we added a re-roof with CertainTeed Landmark Cobblestone gray

A joyful life in 84 sq. ft. This has been my full time home for the past 8 years and I could not be happier. My previous home was 3,500 sq. ft. and I do not miss it. There's tremendous joy and contentment that comes with a simple life and a tiny, simple home.

Thirty years ago, the homeowners' previous deck was strong and well-built, but time takes its toll and it needed to be replaced. We replaced it with a brand spanking new composite and cedar haven, perfect for a peaceful retirement.
