The entry area became an 'urban mudroom' with ample storage and a small clean workspace that can also serve as an additional sleeping area if needed. Originally a concrete pad for parking a car, the floor has been transformed into a "work of art"... an original design, hand painted, and finished with a clear-coat, industrial epoxy finish. This space serves multiple purposes - an inviting entry, it also serves the owner with an area for exercise, yoga, and meditation, as well as storage space.

Appetite stimulating red cabinets feature wood knobs and pulls. There's island seating as well as a breakfast nook with a view and ample bench seating with extra storage. The custom maple countertops are polished on the sink side of the kitchen but unpolished on the kitchen island.
