Arciform deivered extraordinary service repairing a leak in our 100-plus year-old plumbing without damaging the original lathe and plaster in our historic home. They are skilled, ingenious, and respectful of classic architecture. Besides that, their staff are good company too.

We now live with an amazing remodel of our main living area in our home and really can't thank the crew at Arciform enough. The whole process from initial design, planning, demo, construction, and managing our project - it was always handled with care, professionally, respectfully and the results exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a contractor I would recommend that you reach out and give them a call.

Comment from Arciform:

Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words. It truly means a lot to our entire team to hear that you’re enjoying your newly remodeled space. Transforming your main living area into something that feels open, functional, and filled with light was a rewarding process for us as well.

We’re especially grateful for your trust throughout each phase—from design through construction—and for recognizing the care our crew puts into their work every day. It was a pleasure working with you, and we hope you enjoy your home for many years to come. Richard (Owner)

We asked Arciform to create a garage to match our 100 year old Craftsman house. Requirements included a retaining wall, coordination with landscapers, and neighbor diplomacy. The result is perfect. Everything was on time and under budget, and we deeply appreciated the team's meticulous attention to detail and quality, and their taking initiative when needed. Collaboration between design and construction was great. We had weekly progress updates. Our garage looks charmingly historic, but functions with up to the minute efficiency. Having design driven expert construction is super. In our opinion, Arciform is the best!

Arciform crafted 3 custom windows and 1 custom dutch door for me. They're great to work with, make extremely high quality products and deliver on time. The final product was beautiful! More importantly, they helped me navigate a problem I discovered after bringing the door on-site. It was completely my fault, but they helped me troubleshoot a solution and were able to fix the issue within a week thus keeping the project on time. Arciform is a great business to work with, I highly recommend considering working with them.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Arciform for all your remodeling needs! Everyone we worked with, from our first meeting to final walkthrough, was professional, kind, and talented. We especially loved working with Jamie and Taylor, who were on site for 5 months - their humor, patience and attention to detail made living through a remodel bearable, and I think we even had a little fun along the way! We love our new bathroom, new entryway, and updated kitchen!

Comment from Arciform:

Thank you Alex! Those are such kind words about our team and we are glad you had a great experience working with us on your vintage home. It's wonderful to be surrounded by talented designers, project managers, carpenters and the admin team making it work behind the scenes. Best of all, working with people like you that appreciates good design and wonderful details. Thank you, Richard. (owner)

We worked with Arciform on a new design for our kitchen and they were amazing. The design was incredible. They did a great job of talking us through all of the options, what we needed to consider, and did an excellent job of helping us understand enough to make the best decision for ourselves. They were never pushy, were super responsive, and stand behind their work. We'll be using them for all of our future projects.

About 2 ½ years ago we undertook an ambitious renovation and upgrade of our large, recently purchased vintage house. Arciform showed that they saw the possibilities for improving its livability and appeal. One strangely large upstairs room was transformed into a well-balanced area with a bedroom, bathroom and a craft and lounging area. A nondescript carpeted space was made into to an attractive office with a hardwood floor and a wall-length integrated unit with bookshelves, drawers, and cabinets. Every room in the house was improved in some way: A large area of rough slate flooring was replaced with ceramic tiles, additional closet space was added, more shelves and cabinets were installed, kitchen components were replaced, electrical and light fixtures were updated and added. The house was painted or stained throughout. All of this is by way of saying that it was a big project that required planning, coordination and oversight. Creative and workable plans were drawn. The project manager’s advice and project guidance reflected excellent taste and judgment. The onsite lead was exceedingly clever in creating solutions. The crew was friendly and considerate. The workmanship was exceptional. Choosing Arciform gave us a house that we are pleased and proud to own.

This is an amazing design/build company. Anne and Richard have created something very special, highly ethical with the highest standards of service. Everyone we worked with was highly skilled, professional, friendly and willing to do whatever it took for us to get the kitchen we wanted. Our design team helped us find the best layout for our small space; choose everything from appliances to tile, and saved us money by suggesting companies that had better quality for less. The project manager, Adam, coordinated everything and kept us informed, in detail, of what expect every week. The construction people and our painter are so skillful, helpful and nice to have around. There are so many small details I could describe but this review would be a book. I can't recommend this company more highly. I miss working with them.

Comment from Arciform:

Thank you, Gretchen. It was a joy to work with you, and to know how much you love and use your "new" kitchen! We miss working with you, too.

We had a wonderful experience hiring the Arciform team to redesign and totally renovate our kitchen. The design was sensitive to the historic feel of our 80 year old home and yet totally enhances the enjoyment of our home and kitchen. All their work is first quality and thoughtfully executed. We whole-heartedly recommend them. We felt the team was almost part of the family by the end of the project. Very respectful of our schedules and needs. Totally dependable and trustworthy.

We used Arciform to remodel our 1911 Colonial in NE Portland. The scope included a 12’ addition off the back of the house, a new kitchen and breezeway, new master bath, and reconfiguration of the other bathrooms. Anne and team did a phenomenal job of designing the space, and Adam, Jamie, and the construction crew translated her vision into reality. I really appreciated the Arciform process of selecting all the details during the design process; it made construction go much more smoothly. Arciform is known for their attention to detail, and they did not disappoint. From the custom windows with rope & pulley hardware to the matching the leaded glass in the kitchen to the existing style, everything looks like it has always been here (albeit locked in a time capsule). If you’re looking for someone to create a space that seamlessly integrates with the rest of your house - especially an older historic home - I could not recommend Arciform highly enough.

We have used Arciform for the remodel of our 1909 home in Portland Heights. Our project involved most of the house, in 3 phases over the course of a few years. We are absolutely thrilled with the end result. Arciform is a highly professional team, from start to finish. Anne has a great sense of design – she guided us in the right direction on all the important decisions. Our project manager, Adam, did a tremendous job in organizing the work and communicating with us. Jamie Whittaker, the lead carpenter for each of our projects, is a true artisan and a patient perfectionist. Most of all, the Arciform team clearly aims to please & stands behind their work 100%. In the end, we have no regrets, no “buyers remorse” and thoroughly enjoyed working with the Arciform team through each phase. If we had more to renovate, we’d definitely work Arciform again. Thank you, Arciform!

Comment from Arciform:

Lynne, our whole team enjoyed working with you and your family on your wonderful home. Thank you for choosing us for your remodeling projects!

Working with Arciform was one of the most creative, technical and seamless experiences I have had in the space of home renovation and design. They are the perfect balance of art and science, partnering on your ideas but coming in on budget and time. Their team is all world in terms of craft, restoration and finishing and rival any team in the country on taste and capability. They work fast, they work clean and they are always available to solve small or large home needs. They specialize in historic preservation and restoration and have a large social consciousness. If you have the chance and the opportunity to work with them it's a gift. The work they did for us they stood by hind and continue to stand behind even though we sold the house (for much more than purchase price due to their added value and craft). Anne and Richard are all world.
