My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

We hired Autun Contractors to gut and renovate our apartment in Carnegie Hill. This was our 5th major renovation (and my husband is in the real estate development/construction business.) Our previous projects were not particularly smooth sailing; however, this one was totally different. Our architect highly recommended Autun, as she had previously worked with them and had good experiences. To our delight, so did we! Ash Suri is reliable, responsive, diligent, talented, and a true gentleman. He and his staff are the definition of PROFESSIONAL. Everyone who worked on our apartment was fantastic; from the project manager, to the super on the job, to every sub Ash hired. The end product is absolutely beautiful and we can’t thank Ash enough for giving us our dream apartment. We have already recommended Autun Contractors to our friends. If we ever renovate another apartment, we would not hesitate for one second—we know the only contractor we would call—Ash Suri!

Ash Suri's innovative sense of design created the perfect solution for incorporating outside space for inside needs. We were unable to reasonably purchase that apartment, but shall utilize Ari in the near future. His attention to detail and 24/7 availability for his customers are unique in this fast paced era.

I have done some work for Autun Contractors for floor repair/finish, they have been extremely nice, professional, and detail oriented done to the smallest details in all aspects of the project, from start to finish, all went as smooth as it possibly can. It is a pleasure to work with Autun Contractors, they are very budget, quality and deadline oriented, but they never expect you to sacrifice quality for quantity. Autun Contractors handled the gut renovation of our 2-bedroom apartment on Park Avenue. Ash was professional, creative, accessible and on-time. Whenever there was a problem or issue to be resolved, he worked with the architect and us to find a good solution. His crew was hard-working, polite, clean and knowledgable. He stayed on budget and was able to offer suggestions on how to save money when required. Ash was able to understand the project's design and come up with ways to make it all happen. I would work with him again in a minute.

Autun contractors is one of the most reputable contracting companies I know and I work with virtually all of the highest end contractors in NYC. They are extremely knowledgeable in the trades they subcontract to which is rare. Their manner of compressing dates of completion in a professional manner is excellent. They all take deadlines very seriously and are prepared to do whatever it takes to achieve them while not compromising quality. Ash personally oversees all jobs and is constantly coming up with new ideas and solutions to solve problems that always arise in construction. His team of project managers and supers are well trained, deadline oriented and easy to deal with. I put them at the top of their trade on all accounts

Ash has been a friend for many years and I always knew he did great work due to the level of excitement he used in describing various projects. It was not until I had my own project which was to build my own home that I recognized the real value. I needed to combine six units in an old UES brownstone and the creativity and know how helped me recognize a great finished product. We live in a four bedroom, four bath, three floor "building within a building" to support my. I would recommend Ash with the highest degree of certainty to anyone looking for good work. Dirk W.
