We’ve known and have loved Irit's modern designs for quite some time now. That's why, when our house was damaged by fire and needed major repair, we knew it was just an excuse to build our dream home with her. The project wasn’t simple given the time pressure of submitting plans to the city quickly and incorporating our existing house as we couldn’t simply demolish it per city restrictions. Within two months Irit delivered amazing design that was both functional and innovative. Her design is exceptional in that she is using minimum detail to creating big visual effects, just by using lines and surfaces that interact with each other in the perfect location and proportions.
She was able to take our existing plain home and envision this special cubical modern home that is just to our liking. Her design with few minor changes met city regulations and we got the desired building permit. During the building of our house Irit has been very creative, resourceful, practical and helpful in getting our project moving forward We highly recommend her design expertise to those who would like their house to look modern and sharp on which they'd get compliments constantly.

My wife and I hired Steven Stept. for our condo remodel. After discussing our wish list we were presented with two design options which respected our modern tastes and budget. During the construction Mr. Stept was readily available by phone or in person to answer our contractors questions and in order to execute the design. We were very pleased with the final result of our remodel, so much so that when our HOA decided to remodel the lobby we recommended Axelrod+Stept Architects and they were selected for the job.

My husband and I worked with Steven Stept, he was one of the architects for the custom home we built in the Bay Area. He was a true professional to work with. His attention to detail in incredible, and the final result turned out wonderful - we couldn't be happier. Steven was really on top of getting the details right for the entire home - from details on handling reveals at edges and corners, window details, stair rails, built-in steel cabinetry, etc., etc. We have a California Modern home - warm, modern, indoor-outdoor living. The lines and scale and proportions of the home are just right. We get comments from people all the time saying how they just love the feel of our home. We would not hesitate to recommend Steven in any capacity.
