Loretta Bell is an absolute gem! We needed a designer and a decorator to transform our hopes and sketches for an unfinished lower level into a contractor’s blueprint. This was a large job (2,400 sq. ft.) and she drew expert plans for an amazing home theater, full kitchen, guest bedroom with full bath, wine cellar, gym, art studio and family lounge. Loretta also helped us remodel our home’s first floor: changing strategic lights, designing display shelves (living room, study and pantry), cabinets (sun room and study) and a custom addition to the kitchen island. She also suggested a brilliant rebuild of our stairs to the lower level. She was very helpful using our existing furniture and, where additions were needed, selecting furniture with a talent for finding deals and coordinating color selections. Loretta is creative, energetic, extremely organized and efficient. Add to that she is very easy to work with and very accessible. We hired Loretta to help us with the overall design for a second floor renovation which included two bathrooms, bedrooms, bonus room and the renovation of our staircase. We enjoyed working with Loretta, she has a great eye for color and did an amazing job directing our choices for tile, plumbing and electrical fixtures, staircase components, paint, and flooring. Loretta was extremely helpful in determining and placing new electrical fixtures in all of our rooms as well. She is very professional and worked well with our contractor and his tradesmen. Our finished product turned out beautiful - we just love it!

I hired Loretta Bell to design a plan to remodel my master bathroom. I needed to leave the existing shower and tub in place but wanted to update the overall look by replacing sinks, lighting, mirror, flooring, plumbing fixtures, countertops and cabinets. Loretta came up with a great design for the space. She designed custom cabinets, which were more expensive than some other options, but they are beautiful! They also provide storage that is personalized and useful. . The cabinets really take the room from nice to "wow!" I am very happy with them! Loretta listened to my ideas and offered thoughtful suggestions. She guided me through all the decisions that have to be made in picking everything out. She was very responsive to questions and problems that came up along the way during the construction process. In a situation where there was a problem with a vendor, she was a good advocate for me. I am really happy with our color selections and how everything came together. I love my new bathroom!

My husband and I used Bell &Associated to help with both the design and layout of our new construction home. This also included selections with paint colors, cabinetry, floor finishes, hardware, and tile. This was a process that we found to be very stressful and overwhelming. Loretta had a way of taking what we both wanted and making it work beautifully in each space. She was always a step ahead when it came to the design and layout of each room. She constructed drawings in a timely manner that helped to bring our visions to life. Loretta of Bell Interior Design was a dream to work with. We hired her to initially help design and finish our basement but she's done so much more. Our basement is now the nicest part of our house and we always look forward to spending time in it. My biggest fear with finishing a basement was that it would feel dark and dingy no matter what we did. Instead it is warm and inviting and comfortable. Loretta listened to what our goals were in the space for functionality and our what taste in styles are. In turn, she created a space that was our dream.
