We had a complete bathroom re-model done by Powers Design & Build, LLC. The walls and floors were removed and replaced. The bid was reasonable and accurate. The hard part for me was all the decisions about colors, tiles, cabinets, counter tops. Mr Powers was the greatest help in showing us what was available, where to order, and ideas about matching. He was invaluable in that regard. The workmen were courteous, as quiet as they could be (of course there was some noise) and careful with our property. There were delays, as you could imagine. since we went into shut down at the beginning, but everything was completed within a reasonable timeline, considering. The finished project is beautiful, and all we imagined. Very satisfied!

It was a joy to work with Powers Design & Build for my kitchen remodel. From the initial meeting, to the design and all the way to the finished kitchen, it was a great process. Bill and his colleagues are all very professional and communicate well. I love my new kitchen!

We contacted Bill based on a recommendation from a coworker. Once we met with him, we found that many in our neighborhood had also worked with him before and had nothing but good things to say about him and his work. We found him to be very knowledgable, had a calm, easy to work with demeanor, and a high level of work ethic which is very important to me. He created a design that took into consideration our neighborhood esthetic and would do nothing but increase the overall value of our home. We had a pool cabana/guest place added on to our garage. His crew showed up every day just as they said they would, and completed quality work with the best communication throughout that we have experienced on any home project. We had a few bumps in the road along the way, which is expected in any construction project, but Bill was calm and reassuring throughout and everything worked out just as he said it would. Our cost estimate was lower than the final cost. I prefer to be quoted on the high end of things in order to be pleasantly surprised in the end if it costs less than expected. However, having been through a home project before, costs of items change along the way and there are unexpected challenges that are encountered that cannot be anticipated. Bill was always easy to discuss financial concerns with and the quality of the end product has been worth it! It is true that you get what you pay for! We were so happy and pleased with our final addition, that we are currently working on a kitchen remodel plan with him and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Bill and his team recently completed our master closet addition and sliding door to our patio extension. We are more than pleased with their work. The contractors were highly skilled and good people. They cleaned everything up daily, even going as far as to bring our trash cans up each week. We would highly recommend Bill for all steps in the process. He was easy to deal with and communicated thoroughly. He was responsive over email, text, and phone whenever needed. We will be recommending him to friends and family in the future.

We used Powers Design Build for the removal of a wall between our kitchen and living room which included an arched opening and lots of trim work. They also remodeled our fireplace which included adding electrical above the mantle and redesigning the look of it. I am a very detailed person and was extremely pleased with the quality of their work and the professionalism of the contractors. Bill was great and I enjoyed his good communication and high standards.

After our detached garage was brought down by a tree, we turned to Bill Powers with Powers Design & Build to help us design and build a new one. From the initial design and permitting all the way through final construction, Bill and his team made the process very easy. They helped us with the design – we are in a historic neighborhood and the rebuilt garage needed to complement the house. Communication was excellent throughout – Bill made sure we knew what was planned and kept us informed if there were any delays. Project estimates were accurate, workmen were respectful and the quality of the construction was good. We are very pleased with our finished garage and would recommend Powers Design & Build without hesitation.

We have had the pleasure of knowing Bill Powers for over twenty five years. He has done extensive remodeling in our home a number of times and we have always been pleased with every aspect of the job. Bill is keenly aware and knowledgeable of current trends in architecture and design and was a wealth of information when I needed help with my decision making. As is true of most we were working on a budget when we remodeled our kitchen this spring. Bill helped us decide on what was truly important to us in our design and helped us achieve the look we wanted and stay within our budget. He never made us feel pressured and honestly was always trying to work with us to get the best possible outcome for our needs. We feel we left this project and others with Bill Powers completely satisfied and would recommend them to work in your home.

Bill is an outstanding guy, easy to work with and communicates very well. Everyone he has working for him is top notch. His tile guys are exceptional. We get compliments every time someone comes over about the floors and bathrooms. He is honest and open about everything going on and couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Powers Design.

Our remodel involved blowing out three adjacent tall windows and for one large one downstairs and a complete remodel upstairs of two bedrooms and pullman bath-sorely outdated! This 3 month projected remodel was completed 2 weeks early and on budget! Never had this happen before!! We experienced only one below average performance in a contractor during this project and it was remedied immediately! We appreciated the knowledge, skill and professionalism shown to us by Powers Design throughout this project. The company came highly recommended to us and we totally concur and recommend them no matter the size of the project. They have the ability!

We've just completed our kitchen remodel with Powers Design and Build. The project was amazing. Mr. Powers came up with a design that we hadn't even considered. His carpenters were definitely a cut above, arriving on time and cleaning up at the end of each day. We came in on budget and the kitchen looks amazing.

Powers Design & Build had done three (3) remodels for us: designed & remodeled my family home in 1986 in historic Maple Ridge; designed and remodeled the kitchen in our 1950 home; and just completed the design & remodel of the kitchen and bath in our Olympia Townhome. In all three instances Bill and crew have been a delightful and have done an outstanding job. Bill always stands behind his work. What sets Bill apart from other contractors is his design eye—you have an idea and he make it happen. He’s never told me yet that something can’t be done. That’s not to saw we haven’t encountered some surprises in our older homes, but he always had a solution. I can’t recommend Bill, his crew and company highly enough.
