Brenda Izen is an incredible architect. From the planning phases through to completion of the project, she is a supportive and informative resource. Her designs are thoughtful, modern and clever. She is a wealth of information, and delivers it in a way that is user-friendly. Brenda is a person who stands by her clients and her designs. She will stand up for what she designed and have drawings and contacts to support her ideas. She is well connected in the industry. All of the service providers she recommended were excellent. Brenda accommodates for the needs of her clients. She is thoughtful about young families and their space. I would hire Brenda again, 100%!

Working with Brenda at Izen architecture is like working with your best friend who happens to be a creative innovator. Her collaborative nature is comforting. There was never a question of whether or not my home was going to have the right fit and feel for our family as Brenda asked all of the right questions and held our hands throughout the process. I would work without Brenda again..and again, no question about it! Her designs are fresh and contemporary without being cold. She is a gift to anyone embarking on a large scale building or renovation project!

Brenda is a phenomenal architect and our renovation certainly wouldn't have gone as smoothly without her. She is an incredibly hard worker with an eye for style and detail. She is versatile - while she does a lot of modern designs, she was able to design a traditional country-style home for us, too. That's the mark of a truly talented architect, in my opinion. She does not have one repetitive style she relies on like some other architects - her designs are all unique and informed by style and the need of the client. All of her recommendations were spot on - from closet size minimums to lighting plans. Her renderings really helped us figure out the best design for the exterior of our house, and she was unbelievably patient with us throughout the process. She was easy to reach, very hands on, and I would use her again without any hesitation. Most importantly, she is a lovely person who was always a pleasure to speak to and interact with. Izen Architecture was possibly the best decision we made when we undertook a major renovation/addition to our home. Brenda's professionalism was unparalleled. Her ability to meet deadlines is fantastic, and her knowledge of her field and problem solving skills are huge assets. Her style is modern, but she is quite creative, meaning that her projects all look different and she is very good at listening and figuring out what her clients want. Her passion for architecture shines through her work and we couldn't be happier with the result. We are not interested in doing another renovation for a loooooong time/or ever, but if we were our FIRST call would be to Brenda at Izen Architecture.
