I remodeled my home in Laguna Woods, and I can't imagine having gone through the process without Claudia. She is professional, reliable, and highly knowledgeable about sourcing materials, fabrication and color balance. Once thing I really appreciated was she took the time to understand my unique preferences, and then worked diligently to fine tune small details of the design so that when I look around my home, I feel like it is the best possible expression of my own vision. Claudia recently helped us with the interior design of our desert home, including furniture selection. This was the third project Claudia has helped us with and as always, we are thrilled with the result. She has a unique aesthetic sense that is cool and cohesive, while at the same time being very comfortable and easy to live with. I had the pleasure of working with Claudia for the first time a few weeks back and was delighted from the moment we first connected. She is so on top of, literally EVERYTHING, such a talented designer and an all around wonderful person. I hired Claudia to come up with a fresh design for my kitchen and wet bar areas. After jumping through several hoops from my HOA we were able to move forward. We did an entire kitchen demo and Claudia submitted Architectural Drawings that showed me the new design complete with the materials and appliances I selected. Claudia stayed in touch throughout the entire construction process, made some suggestions for colors, and helped me pick out my materials. My cabinets were custom designed for my stuff with all soft-close pull-out drawers. All the contractors and trades did what they said they were going to do, and we stayed on our timeline. Joe Steele, the contractor, is THE best! He made sure his crew cleaned up after each day and took the time to address any questions that I had about the process. He also jumped through extra hoops to accommodate the permitting process. I LOVE my new kitchen! It is very high-end and every person through my home has complimented me on it.

We used Claudia for a major kitchen remodel. Thanks to her professional oversight, design skills and exquisite taste, we now have our dream kitchen. The contractors she uses are top notch--the project was on time and on budget. Our new kitchen is well laid out and practical, and so beautiful I just love spending time there! We had never worked with a designer before and our experience with Claudia was outstanding! She has a great eye for color and an instinct for space and proportion. She knew when to challenge us with new ideas and when to listen. Her style of communication is direct without being confrontational. You'll know what she thinks and it turned out to be well worth it for us to listen. I moved into my house 9 years ago and all these years, I couldn’t figure out how to turn my loft area room into a functional office space for me and for my son. I simply didn't know what to do and thought the problem was architectural. I work from home and I have a lot of work related equipment and supplies. Before spending so much money for desks and etc., I decided to give it a shot to find an interior designer I could afford. I found Claudia on yelp and decided to call her after reading all her wonderful reviews on Yelp and Houzz. That’s also how I found out about her five-hour consultations. She replied back to my message very quickly and we set up an appointment within a week. Before our meeting, she wanted me to send her a punch list of what I expected from her. I was worried that we could fit all those on the list to five hours but she assured me that she could. She arrived to our meeting very promptly and with a lot of samples for a custom made cabinetry and desks. She worked non-stop for 5 hours without taking any coffee breaks or anything. In 5 hours, she was able to find creative solutions to all my questions and draw a wonderful layout plan for my office, which I could totally visualize in my head. I now have a design with exact measurements for custom desks and cabinets that I can order from any carpenter. She also sent this plan along with the materials I chose to an architect she knows and I am waiting for a quote. I’m so glad I hired her; I now have a very clear vision of what I want and need to do to have a functional yet attractive office. I wish I had knew her when I first moved into this house before I remodeled my kitchen and bathrooms. I’d recommend Claudia to everyone.

I recently moved into a new home and was at a loss as to what I wanted for furniture or decorations. I found Claudia through Yelp and after reading all the wonderful reviews, hired her for a 5-hour consultation. We went from store to store getting a sense of what styles I like, all the while she offered her professional opinion on what would go well in my house. It was time well spent! By the end of the consultation, she helped me pick out a beautiful dining room table and chairs that will look fantastic in my home. After our meeting, she emailed me information on other pieces of furniture to complement my dining room. I still need to pick out living room furniture and I will definitely hire Claudia to help me again. Thank you, Claudia!

When my wife and I first decided to redo our kitchen, we thought at first we could get away with using an operation like Reborn Cabinetry, which specializes in resurfacing your cabinets. We had them come by, and asked them how much it would cost for them to just gut the kitchen and remake it, rather than just resurface the cabinets. Instead of giving us options, the representative just kept pushing for a resurfacing. When he finally gave us an estimate for the entire kitchen, it was about 45,000 dollars. That's when we decided to call Claudia with an intent to hire. We've had work done on the house before, but, being inexperienced home owners, we sort of picked a contractor and then had them do the work, including picking fixtures, style of wood, et cetera. We were never satisfied with the work done, but we never really felt like we were the type of people who had the money to hire a designer. When it came time to do the kitchen, after the visit with Reborn, we knew there was no way were going to get it done cheaply, even if the job was poorly done (we are not fond of spending money), and based on Reborn's rushed sales job, I had a feeling the job they were going to do would be a bad one. So, once we got the quote from Reborn, we gave Claudia a call. We figured if we were going to drop 50,000 to 60,000 dollars, we wanted to make sure the project was done correctly. We thought a designer might help. My wife has a hard time deciding when it comes to major decorating decisions (what color should the kitchen be? What kind of countertop should be used?), and I am basically useless when it comes to envisioning what I want something to look like (my idea for the new kitchen was "something Mexican" - brilliant, right?). I got on the Internet and called a few people who were advertising their services. The only person who sounded like a pro was Claudia, so I asked her to come by. Without any guarantee of money, she spent 2 hours talking to us about what we wanted our kitchen to look like, and what our budget was. She struck me as straightforward and honest, and it meant a lot to us that she was willing to take the time to understand what we wanted. Also, we knew that as a designer with experience, she would probably have a better feel as to who the good contractors were. Finally, it was a relief to both of us that, if there was a problem with the job, she would take care of it. That meant that we wouldn't be stuck arguing with some carpenter that his job was done incorrectly. I hate doing that - I don't know anything about carpentry! So, we decided to go for it and hire Claudia. BEST DECISION EVER. Claudia knows what she is doing. She turned my vague idea of a "Mexican kitchen" into something that looks amazing but still captures the essence of what I wanted - how she did that, I have no idea. She did all the work of finding the best looking stuff, of narrowing down our choices to what was worth choosing, which made my wife's job so much easier when a decision had to be made. I mean, my wife and I didn't have time to shop around, and frankly, I hate shopping. Even if we had time, there's no way we could have matched Claudia's knowledge base of what is available. The kitchen that she created not only looks amazing, but it's super functional. Everything is where it should be, but there's no way we could have arranged that by ourselves - Claudia did it, and it's only after the kitchen is finished and we started cooking in it that we realized what a genius she is. Every day we like it better and better. Were there problems along the way? Hey, all remodels have problems, but Claudia always took full ownership of the problems, which was so great for us. She always took on the burden of stressing whether or not something was going to get done correctly, which made the project, to some extent, worry free. Of course, my wife and I, being chronic worriers, would still call her and pepper her with emails, texts, and questions, but Claudia was always sympathetic, available, and confident that, whatever happened, the final product was going to be amazing. I have to say, she was always right: our kitchen is amazing. Look, the bottom line is this: if you've got the money to do a kitchen redo, do it right and hire Claudia to do it for you. Trust me, I'm not a big fan of spending money, but I am a big fan of doing something right if it is to be done at all. I'm already saving up for the next time we have to remodel part of the house, and you can bet that I'll be setting aside the necessary cash for Claudia's fee as part of the budget. Having her involved is pretty much a guarantee that the final product is going to be as close to perfect as possible.

After years of trying to design our master bath, we decided to hire Claudia Interior Design and could not be more pleased with our new bathroom. She is very friendly, honest, creative and a genius at space and design. Her attention to detail is extraordinary. She helped guide us with our product selections as well as overseeing the project with our general contract so everyone was on the same page. Would not hesitate to recommend Claudia Interior Design to everyone...she's worth every penny!

Claudia brought my home to the next level in design. The bathrooms are truly incredible, giving the home a very "boutique hotel" vibe and sense of luxury. She is in her own class, always staying abreast of what is new in the product world so able to speak of current trends. Claudia has impeccable taste, is extremely detail oriented and makes sure the job is done right!
