About Us

We are a custom cabinet shop located in Phoenix Arizona. We build kitchens, bathrooms, closets, libraries, offices, coffered ceilings, entertainment centers, and tables. Our manufacturing facility employs cutting edge CNC and CAD technology to let you see your space in 3d before a saw is even turned on. Everything is hand assembled and finished with conversion varnish in the U.S.A. by true craftsmen.

I’ve used Copper Canyon for a coffee bar in my home and complete custom kitchen cabinets for my mom’s home. Quality was top notch for both projects and they were very flexible with design elements and accessories. I was very happy that my mom was able to get what she wanted with maximum storage. Getting rid of all the dead space and fillers was an unbelievable difference!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! This is the first review in 2 years ...I wonder why. MY job was NOT completed nor was the signed contract honored. Sam began the project in October, invoiced the bal due in november and was paid in full by my designer. The job was not finished, and the remaining materials were LEFT BY MY FRONT DOOR....UNINSTALLED on January 12th!!!!!! This man is UNPROFESSIONAL and clearly doesn't care about his reputation. I HIGHLY recommend you DO NOT have your designers hire him as you might end up with an unfinished project.

Sam and his assistant were extremely responsive to my cabinetry needs. They perfectly matched the style, finish and color of my existing cabinets, which was an absolute requirement. They were professional, and got the cabinets made and installed in a timely manner -- even though the installation was difficult and necessitated some creative 'engineering'. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We could not have been more impressed with the built-ins Sam and his team built and installed. They are very high quality at a great price. Sam is very professional, conscientious, and honest. Our cabinets are perfect and we will most certainly be hiring Copper Canyon for future projects.

We’ve designed a pretty complicated kitchen with multiple levels of trim where a lot of precise cuts were required. Sam and the team rose up to the challenge and did a phenomenal job! Three things to know about them. 1. They’re extremely punctual, in 5 days they were never late. 2. They are very experienced at what they do. 3. They are reasonably priced for the quality of service that you’d get. We would highly recommend them and will most likely use them again for the next project.

Copper Canyon Millworks is one a best of a few woodworking and cabinetry companys in the valley. Sam Caprar is one of the most out going and professional men you'll ever meet . He is innovative and very precise in giving his customers exactly what they ask for. I talked to 5 company's that do what his company does , I chose Copper Canyon Millworks because Sam assured me his company could handle my woodworking needs. After meeting Sam in person I knew I made the right chose for my delicate job that in tailed the reworking of a very expensive TV cabinet . The gentleman he brought with him to help install the finished product was excellent as well. I am very very pleased with the work his company did and now my wife wants our kitchen cabinets remodeled. Thank you again Sam and Copper Canyon Millwork Larry and Cynthia

When we bought a home in Peoria, AZ seven years ago we needed bookshelves. We found Sam Caprar, Copper Canyon Millworks, who just had started out. Sam is very knowledgeable about the material he uses and built us wonderful bookshelves, a shelf under a window, and a corner shelf from Ash wood. Sam understands how to design a book shelf that really will accommodate books (that a very heavy) without shelves buckling under their weight. Sam also is skillful in bringing out the beauty of the natural material and make it shine. We are enjoying the shelves Sam built for us on a daily basis.

Sam was professional, knowledgeable, affordable, and completed the project ahead of schedule.His toughest challenge was to match the color of the built-in entertainment center to the already existing cabinets in the nearby kitchen, which were six years old. Without hesitation, he took on the task did a masterful job, and we always get "WOW" commentswhen people first see it. THANKS, SAM!!

Commented: Kitchen Design HelpI would try to remove the soffit completely and increase the height of the wall cabinets, that would create a massive improvement to the focal points of the kitchen.
