D2A STUDIO design/architecture

It was a pleasure working with Dubravka on the gut renovation of our Brooklyn townhouse. From start to finish, she listened to our needs and ideas and proposed creative solutions for our home. She provided detailed plans and drawings (for both interior and exterior work) and moved our project quickly through the DOB. In addition, because our home is in a historic district, we needed Landmarks approval for our project. Dubravka guided us through the process and made persuasive presentations before our community board and and the full Landmarks Preservation Committee. We highly recommend her and her firm!

Dubravka was quick to respond, had great ideas and managed the entire gut renovation of my loft like a consummate professional. She came up with the design after several hours of going over our wants and needs and incorporated every aspect of what we wanted. She worked so seamlessly with the contractor (who I hired on my own) that the entire project was a pleasure. We still love our home every day (5 years later). I would highly recommend her any day.

What I most appreciated about D2A's work was that her creative and beautiful sense of style incorporated how we really use space in our every day lives. She knew just how to bring out our personalities in the redesign. And, she was so much fun to work with! I'm hoping to hire her again on a new project!

I was calling around looking for general information about doing a gut renovation in Chelsea. Dubravka Antić of D2A Studio stood out from other firms I spoke to from the very beginning. Ms. Antić was able to give us an overview of the process and the steps involved with a clarity that made us want to meet with her. During the first few meetings we were very impressed when she came up with so many innovative ideas for reimagining our space. Flip the kitchen and bath? Put the kitchen upstairs next to the roof deck? Dubravka is all about thinking outside of the box. We soon saw that she had the technical expertise and knowledge to realize these plans. The Architectural drawings passed the DOB quickly and efficiently on the first try. I believe it is Dubravka's clarity and deep knowledge of the process which helped us to realize these plans. She found us a contractor she had worked with before, and we were able to realize these innovative plans for our space beautifully Clarity, innovation, a knowledge of all the new technologies in building materials, as well as a calm temperament made us feel as if we were in good hands during the process. We feel very lucky to have found Dubravka and her team at D2A studio. Thank you for a job beautifully done!
