About Us

David Stumpf Architecture, LLC is a full service architecture and design firm based in both Pittsburgh, PA, and Dallas, TX. Licensed to practice in the states of North Dakota, Pennsylvania, and Texas the firm has completed several projects throughout Texas as well as the greater Pittsburgh Region. A Pittsburgh native, David received his undergraduate degree in Architecture and Construction Management from Kent State University in 2011. Shortly after receiving his Bachelors degree, David moved to San Antonio, TX to gain a new perspective of architecture. He lived and worked there while attending the Graduate School of Architecture at the University of Texas San Antonio, and ultimately receiving his Master of Architecture in 2015. After graduation, David moved back to Pittsburgh to practice architecture, and to study for and take his licensing exams. In November of 2017 David received his initial architectural license, and has been practicing as a licensed architect since then. The firm has experience in the creation of restaurant & retail spaces, luxury high-rise residential properties, hospitality, large multi-family, and single family residences. David was an incredible architect who made the entire home-building process a rewarding experience. Due to the location and our schedule, we couldn’t always be present at the site. From the very beginning, David’s expertise and commitment stood out, helping to create a home that felt both timeless and functional. He is highly dependable and offers valuable insights into aesthetics, along with a keen attention to details we hadn’t even considered. His commitment to delivering the best outcome was evident at every stage. Working with David was a dream! My family and I own a wellness market house and I know nothing about construction, so during the entire process I had a hard time visualizing how our space was going to turn out. David was able to bring all of my visions to life with his incredible 3-D rendering skills. He made the space feel so real and worked with us so patiently through every tweak and change that we brought to him. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a local architect or 3-D renderings!

I asked David to design my yard on a new house I bought. He did research to find the exact types of plants that grow well on San Antonio, he was attentive to detail, and he over delivered what he promised. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended!
