Nov 6, 2024 I was promised delivery of my components to repair my defective door by Nov. 3rd. We have heard NOTHING as of today Nov. 6th. Tired of excuses and apologies. Today I was informed the repair components will not arrive until the 18th of November 2024. Business owner information Laurie S. Oct 22, 2024 We recently had a new front door, side windows and a bathroom picture window replaced at a cost of $26,000. The window went in just fine. However the door was either mis-measured or a faulty component from the manufacture resulting in the door being basically non useable until the factory ships the parts. I foolishly wrote the check , which was cashed, before the job was completed. We are less than happy since we are entertaining 15 guests at our home on the 31st of October. Now we will have to have guests enter thru our garage or back door. We chose this company based on excellent reviews. Steve & Connie Back

Regarding the delivery date, there must be a misunderstanding, as a November 3rd timeline was never promised. Our team made every effort to reach out after installation to discuss next steps, and possible temporary remedies, without success. But, when we saw your request in a separate online review asking that we not contact you, we aimed to respect your wishes until a date was obtained from the manufacturer.

As we discussed last week, the original door was fully inspected upon arrival to our facility, however there was a manufacturer defect inside the door which could not have been detected until well into the installation process. Since the door you ordered is a beautiful custom door, they do take time to rebuild. The mid-November date is what we were given by our supplier.

The issue with the door is deeply frustrating for everyone involved. Rest assured we’ve been actively working with the manufacturer to address it. Again, we regret that this has caused you this much frustration. We will contact you again once the door arrives in our warehouse.

My husband and I purchased all new Marvin windows for out home. They are not only very energy efficient but have drastically reduced the outside noise. We also got new shutters and a new front door which we love. The team was able to completely redo our patio and make it a functional year round room for us. The windows they installed are beautiful and easy to clean. From the staff to the installers and the products we would highly recommend the Door store for any of your needs.

Our old front door and portal was unattractive and drafty. We hesitated to spend the money on a new door and portal, but chose to do so reluctantly. Our new door and portal gets compliments and is weather tight. The Door Store was easy to work with, reasonably priced and did a super job of installation in the span of one day. We regret waiting so long to approve the project.

Our 50 year old home was in need of all new windows. We were referred to Ann at The Door Store and we were pleased with our project from start to finish! She knew exactly the type window and design that would match our home’s Colonial style. She promised that the installation would not harm any of our existing woodwork and paint. The installation of the windows went perfectly and the job was very clean. Her team had done very precise measurements to insure the proper fit. Not only do the windows look beautiful....they insulate the house from weather, dust, and noise. The personalized customer service was top notch! I highly recommend The Door store!

I highly recommend The Door Store and Windows. I work with Steve Minks, who is not only knowledgeable, but loves what he does. On a recently completed job, Steve took the time to make sure the Marvin windows match the original windows on the 1937 house. On one of the window locks, Marvin put the wrong finish, and Steve drive out and replaced himself. They will go out of their way to help! Tom

I had three high-efficiency exterior doors installed on my circa 1847 brick house and have been thrilled with the result. The quality and style of the doors is exactly what I wanted, but even more important was the skill of the craftsmen to install those doors. As you might expect, the surrounding brick wasn't the most stable, and a little repair work was needed, but the end result is gorgeous. I admire them every time I come home.
